We loved it!
Didn't know what to expect as we were going for the day as a playdate with some friends. All the boys had so much fun. There's plenty of space for kids to run, burn energy and play. I did take a picnic which I left in the car as there were signs asking you not to take food and drinks as they'd prefer you to purchase food to keep the entrance fee free. So we had kids sausage and chips which was good quality, tasty and a good sized portion.
We also enjoyed a game of foot golf in the beautiful summer grass surrounded by wild flowers.
An added bonus was the chickens who have so much room to roam. You can enjoy feeding and interacting with them in their field.

Definitely will be going back and hopefully for a camping trip next time.

Wonderful experience however directions are not clear. I got lost. I went to the where you buy the eggs and the lady there made it sound simple but I still got lost. Ended firstly in the hassling road of Ditching town and then in Notcutts. On the camping board it should also inform of the feeding of chickens. This would save me 15 mins.

Also after feeding the chickens I couldn't find where to pick the eggs. Although it was busy, I asked around and no single person responded. I suppose they were equally clueless. Eventually I did find the place and it was lovely for the kids to pick their own eggs. However a clear sign to indicate the exact location and duration of the walk will really help.

As I arrived I saw two mums carrying their toddlers heaving their way back from the feeding of chickens. I asked them if the walk was long and they said about a 10 min walk from the car park. They recommended taking the buggy. Overall I would definitely recommend this place. However i would ask to make more signs, clear directions, where to wash my hands, something a little bit more.

Tried local eggs all around the area and by a country mile Maccs eggs have the best flavour.
Plus a great price as there's no middleman

We recently moved to the area, and have found Macs Farm to be a real gem! It’s become a really lovely weekend activity to pootle up to the Nesting Box for street food and to enjoy some live music in the sunshine - great for families!

So happy to have this near us! The eggs are plentiful, tasty and ethical, well priced, and the staff are always friendly as a bonus. I also love sometimes saying hi to the chickens when they're in the field!
