Shopped here today, en route home to West Yorkshire. The pork chops, wow, just fabulous. Highly recommend this butcher; the quality of the meat; and the variety, is unsurpassed.

Holidaying in the area and went to buy a couple of nice steaks after a nice visit to the Castle yesterday. Lovely little butchers shop. Just sad that waiting a while in the shop, I asked a lady mopping the floor if the butchers was open. She said they close at 3.45pm. It was 3.40pm when we left. Not very helpful staff tbh. The 2 stars is for the nice quaint layout. Will be going to the other one at the end of the street.
