This is a great company. We had a serious issue with a large well established bee colony living behind a wall and between floors in a 16th century house. The bees were successfully removed and re-homed by Daren and his team. We were kept informed (and educated about bees) at every stage of the removal process. Despite quite extensive floor board lifting to gain access everything was replaced and no mess left behind.
I would highly recommend.

A big thank you to Daren and The Hampshire Bee Company for their work. We moved into a new house last summer, to discover a mass of bees congregating at roof level and entering a gap next to our upsairs bathroom window. We contacted Daren who made a special effort to come the same evening for an initial check; with a heat meter we were shown the mass of bees...behind a plastered dormer wall...and Daren explained our options. He made clear the work would be possible from the inside, without roof access. We were grateful that there was no attempt to exaggerate the issue, and were quickly able to agree a date for the removal. The whole process took a day (plaster removal, then the bees - around 30,000!), and we were kept fully informed. Daren removed the bees, filled the void to prevent re-entry and boarded up the gap very efficiently. We were really impressed with the work put in (as well as follow-up visits to remove stragglers!), and the obvious bonus that all the bees were re-housed. Thoroughly recommend Daren and team

Bees removed carefully and safely from roof, not easily accessible but efficiently achieved with their own free standing scaffolding tower. Some timber removed but nicely replaced and painted. Invoice afterwards exactly in line with original estimate. A pleasure to deal with Daren, a man who understands bees, knows how to handle and remove them and runs a sound and efficient business

Excellent service for the removal of bees and honey from a roof void in a Grade 2 listed property involving taking off a section of the roof and replacing it. It was fascinating watching the process and to witness the knowledge and expertise of this company while carrying out the bee removal. We would definitely recommend them.

Darren and Chris did a marvellous job in accessing and removing a live colony of honey bees in the cavity wall below our eaves. Doing so meant the removal of hanging tiles and then sections of Victorian plank, before removing the comb and bees, and then reassembling the wall structure. They did this on a scaffold tower, in punishing conditions (28C), through a very long day. And they did it with remarkable skill and precision, care for the bees and the building, good humour, amazing stamina and commitment, and tidy working. We admired them and liked them. (The preparatory survey with infrared imaging a month earlier was prompt and fascinating!)

Great service.

The bees had entered through an opening above the window then taken up residence between the walls. The easiest way to remove them was from the inside by removing some panelling.

Daren and Chris did a great job to cover everything up before they started, removing the bees to their new home then returning to clean up and restore the panelling - afterwards you could not even tell they had been there.

Thanks

The Hampshire Bee Company removed a colony of live honey bees from our chimney, and carried out the remedial chimney work required including the fitting of a spinning cowl to deter future swarms from entering the chimney.

Throughout the process, Daren clearly explained the work required and the reasons for it. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about all things bee-related. He even showed us the bees once removed and let us know that they had been safely joined with another colony. It was good to know that our property was in safe hands at the same time as being able to save as many of the bees as possible.
