We came for the Easter at the Farm event. Very disappointing.
No Easter crafts or games (one game) in the Barn. No bottle feeding of the lambs.
The Easter Egg hunt takes place in a grassed field, a few wooden Easter characters and straw bales scattered about. The prize for finding the coloured Easter Eggs, was a small bag of cheap chocolate mice, probably worth about 50p. (The organisers could've bought Easter Eggs in Tesco for £1.50, much better value, than the cheap chocolate prize) This event is more suitable for younger children.

We went to the Pumpkin picking event, no need to book can pay on arrival and we were able to take our dog (although this is not over run with dogs so ideal if you'renot fans). We had a tractor ride, met lots of lovely animals and the children had mini tractors to ride on. Pumpkin fields were amazing and wheelbarrows provided, it was a great place for our son to be free and enjoy himself. There's a farm shop and a little cafe/restaurant too. They currently also have a maize maze, which looked great but we didn't go in this time. Staff were lovely and friendly, we really enjoyed ourselves. There is also a small playground which made a nice touch, we will return at other times when there isn't an event to see the animals, have a play and some shopping/ lunch.

Such a fantastic farm, we went to the Easter event today and we all had such a great time! The event was well thought out and easy for the little ones to take part in with so much to keep them entertained. All the staff were so lovely and accommodating and great with the children. The animal barn was lovely and it was amazing that you could hold and pet the animals, most places wouldn’t let you do that now! My little girl had the best time holding the chicks, playing with the lambs and having a go in the little playground. Us adults enjoyed a lovely snack from the pop up stand and got a few bits from the farm shop. Brilliant family day out and will definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you!

We went to the Easter event yesterday. My girls- aged 6 and 12, both loved it. Great opportunity to get up close with lots of animals. Friendly staff. I thought it was reasonably priced too. I was a little concerned that the barn was very busy and the chicks were constantly being held and put back. Hope they got the opportunity to rest throughout the day. However, the animals did seem well cared for. Lovely farm shop- I would recommend a visit.

Such a lovely place. Took my children to pick some sunflowers and feed the animals. Was a really lovely quiet walk, the sunflowers were gorgeous, we were the only ones there (bit of a hidden gem I guess), there was a cute little play area, a maize maze (we didn't have time to explore but it looked good), a reasonably priced cafe (we had already eaten so didn't use this) and the staff were all without exception really friendly and welcoming. A really nice afternoon, would definitely return.

The Green Barn Farm is a fantastic local gem. The farm shop is well-stocked with high-quality, locally sourced produce, meats, cheeses, and artisan goods - all reasonably priced. The cafe serves delicious breakfasts, lunches, and homemade cakes in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

They host events which we’ve been to many times such as Easter and Halloween which make it a great spot for families too. They have a kids park and you can see the animals in the fields too.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the whole place has a relaxed countryside charm. Highly recommended for anyone in the area!

A very friendly & helpful atmosphere, my wife uses a wheelchair the door wasn't quite wide enough, so a member staff came over straight away & opened the second door to let us in. Once inside there was plenty of room to get around. Prices were very reasonable & a wide selection of produce. They also have a tearoom which we haven't tried yet, but it looks spacious enough. We will be trying that on our next visit.

Pumpkin picking was brilliant! Definitely worth it for £5 pp. The only thing I would say, is the cafe was expensive. Nearly £8 for a toastie which didn’t even come with any side salad/garnish, for myself, mum & toddler to eat a (very underwhelming) toastie and a drink each was near enough £30!
