Myself and my partner visited this store today to enquire about some Aigle boots for myself. The staff here were fantastic a gentleman who was extremely knowledgable and super helpful. I was fairly set on what I wanted but I did enquire about other sets of boots and it seemed no trouble at all to ask. I also made an enquiry for a hood to my Barbour Ashby coat. The gentleman checked if Barbour made this hood in a certain colour of tartan and checked the system. He advised he would also call and check with Barbour on Monday and give me a call. Service was just impeccable and I was left impressed highly recommend this store. Left with the boots and will very likely be back for the hood to the coat!

I’ve been after some shoes what I was struggling to find in stock and had issues with larger country store online orders , I phoned farmers friend and the lovely gent double checked the item and size for me , they arrived a couple of days later all the way upto Lancashire and I couldn’t be more thankful

A bunch of rip off merchants!
Had to send boots back. Not only had to pay for the return but also had to pay for the exchange delivery as well!
Disgraceful and will not help be buying from them again.

The service in this shop is nothing less than fantastic. I have shopped here on a number of occasions and always find them friendly and helpful; genuinely concerned that I go away with the right item. I returned a pair of boots which had a stitching defect in the lining and they were accepted and replaced without a problem. It's not without reason I like to shop with small businesses who have an interest in their customer service. They also have a fantastic range of country clothing. I love this shop.

Amazing and friendly staff, who really care about you. Took my Barber jacket in to get rewaxed and repaired, process was so quick and easy! Few days later got a phone call back to pick it up. While I was there I also purchased some lovely Le Chameau shoes.

Fantastic shop and the staff are so helpful and friendly. I went in at the end of June to buy a walking boot but they hadn't got the size I wanted so I ordered some. The lady in the shop rang me today (Aug 30th) to say the boot was now in and ready to collect. Where else can you get such fantastic service? The staff really know how to look after their customers which is why an independent business like there's is thriving even in this economic climate. They have an enormous range of outdoor clothing and all at great value. There is no need to go to the bigger outlets as Farmers Friend has it all. Long may they stay in business.

Amazing shop!! I bought a Barbour coat there and the service was super friendly, helpful, and competent. No one "forced" me to buy anything and I could have a look by myself and decide without pressure. Today, I walked in because of an issue with my jacket (my own fault) and they were extremely helpful. I am in love with my coat and the shop!
