Been wanting to come here since it opened and we were ready to wait for hours if we had to…. We were so lucky to only wait in the queue for 10 min and managed a table in the pub. We had drinks & sausage roll for my husbands birthday.
We were so excited to be there. Love the deco and the fire place. A big shout out to Jon, Finlay and Louis for being absolutely amazing under all the pressure. U guys Rock. The tent was awesome. Loved all the produce and merchandise.
Yes, it’s worth going! The beer is outstanding and please try the crisps in the tent. Stunning views.
Jeremy you have a great team and you deserve all the success. Hope to see u soon

Got there early to have a look around the shop before joining the queue for the pub for opening. The shop is located in The Grand Tour tent and the staff here are amazing and knowledgeable.

In to the pub and seated straight away for lunch. Went for the Steak Pie & mash with veg and a pint of Hawkstone Premium. Amazing service and attention to detail from the team and very quickly served with lunch.

Sat out on the decking to finish the visit and you can just switch off from reality and enjoy the view.

This is an intriguing spot with a fantastic location, beautifully nestled in scenic surroundings. The main building is tastefully designed, and the spacious lawn area offers plenty of tables for outdoor seating.

Inside the tent, there’s a thoughtful selection of food and drink, featuring a variety of meats and snacks, perfect for a casual bite. Additionally, there’s a small food truck outside where you place your order from within the tent.

I tried the lamb kebab from the truck, which was quite flavorful, though it came at a premium price.

Additionally, if you have to park in the overflow car park, there is a £2 fee.

Overall, it’s a charming place worth visiting if you’re nearby and don’t mind spending a bit extra for the experience.

Arrived directly from visiting Diddly Squat. The car park was full to overflowing and so had to use the overflow car park which is a couple of minutes walk away from the main car park. Overflow car park had a couple of carts on it when i used it. Very busy at the the pub so settled on visiting the Farmer's Puppy which is situated in an on Grand Tour tent. A number of stalls in the tent selling a variety of merchandise. The cheese and bread stall was excellent and the in tent butchers looked amazing so much that my daughter purchased sausages and beef burgers for the children. Ordered our lunch at the counter and then went outside and sat at the picnic tables. It was a glorious day with the sun beating down - idyllic. The buzzer alert worked perfectly and our food was ready pretty swiftly following ordering. The beef burgers were really good as was the lamb kebab and the side order of fries were really tasty.

We had a great time. Unfortunately the restaurant was full and had a long queue of people waiting to be seated. We actually changed plans and had a wonderful time at the tent! The food served from the food truck was of great quality and everything was really tasty. We had the Lamb kebab and some British potato fries, the taste was amazing! Probably the best I've ever had.

Believe the hype. Well worth a visit. Excellent food, great service, beautiful location, Price wise it's no more expensive than any other pub. If it wasn't so far from home it would be a regular destination for me. We will return

Excellent meal but understandably very busy.
We arrived at 11 and already a queue but made all the better by having Jeremy greet everyone at the entrance.
The Sunday roast was great although I would have chosen the beef instead if I'd known the pork was mostly fat. Also the potatoes were slightly overcooked with a very hard skin. Also was looking forward to some sort of dessert after however nothing being served.
Overall a great experience considering they've only been open 2-3 days so I can imagine things only improving.
The service from the staff was also excellent and organised despite being rushed off their feet and they were always pleasant and kind to talk to.
However it's worth noting that currently they are only allocating you an hour time slot at your table which is understandable considering the queue of 100s waiting for a table.
I would hope that over time the overall hype decreases to a point where you can have a comfortable meal without the feeling of being rushed. If it doesn't then this is something that will need to be gotten on top of otherwise this place will continue to be more of a fairground attraction and less of a comfortable pub/restaurant environment. Ideally there should be something like a ticketed system for those wanting to dine so rather than having to stand and queue, you're number is called up when a table is free allowing you to explore the tent and have a drink in the garden.

Quality food and reasonably priced. I took my mum a few days after opening and had a wonderful lunch on the terrace. Great beer, delicious food which you can immediately tell is locally sourced. Great views and the pub has a lovely decor. Vibrant atmosphere which a lot of pubs lack these days and the staff were extremely friendly. Will definitely be returning.
