Lysette has great knowledge.

We have just completed the baby massage course with The Escape Pod and I would highly recommend going to Lysette if any new parents are considering it! She is a great teacher and filled me with confidence when massaging my son 1 on 1 at home. I was a little apprehensive initially as I had little to no knowledge about baby massage but I have seen the benefits first hand and it’s now a crucial step in our bedtime routine and a great wind down if my baby is struggling to go down for naps.
I would absolutely recommend The Escape Pod and will definitely use Lysette again if we were to ever have any more children in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've been seeing The Escape Pod over the past few months for reflexology. I'd never had this before and didn't know too much about it - but I was really pleased with the results. Lysette was able to identify the issues I was having and helped to treat them - and the symptoms I had been having certainly improved by the end of the course. Have had 5 reflexology sessions here so far and it has been amazing. Lysette is lovely and makes you feel very welcome. Meeting Lysette was one of those 'everything happens for a reason' moments - I booked in for a last minute massage where she spoke about training in reflexology. Coincidentally I had been considering alternative therapies for my asthma as not getting anywhere fast with the drs, so I thought what's the worse that can happen!

A bit of background:
My asthma had been out of control for 6 months and I was on steroids almost constantly, I had recently been signed off work for 6 months due to this as well as other issues.

I went to my first session with little expectation.
Lysette is an incredible woman, she is so easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable.
I don't remember much about my first session apart from a breathing exercise we did at the end - 3 deep breaths while she pressed my feet, with each breath it felt like all the bad in my body was flowing through my body and out through my feet!

I entered the pod barely able to talk in full sentences and on the verge of needing more steroids, I left feeling lighter and my lungs felt clearer.
After 5 sessions and 7 weeks later, I am still steroid free!!
The pain I was experiencing has eased a little, I used to have to sit for 1 hour each morning with a heat pack on my back before I could function for the day, I still need to use it occasionally but nowhere near as much!

I am so excited for our monthly session moving forward
