Had a short visit the distillery. Pretty nice distillery in England. Recommend to take the tour and have a specific tasting whiskey. There are parking spots front of the distillery! There is a nice lunch bar in the distillery, so it’s pretty convenient to have lunch, drinks at this bar after having the tour. Reasonable prices, spacious seating.

Fantastic day out. Took my mother in law and called in advance to let them know she had some mobility issues. They said no problem and arranged for chairs to be put at all stops. In the end she was unable to manage the tour so Chris gave her a private talk about what she would have seen. I then went with another Chris on the tour that was very informative. All the staff spoke with such passion. We did the 15th anniversary tour and had three samples and a glass to take home. Jenny in the shop was amazingly helpful and allowed us to sample some more of the whisky’s we were thinking of buying. We the. Popped to the restaurant for a spot of lunch that was lovely and not too expensive. All in all a great tour of a small distillery, with great staff and some lovely whisky’s too.

Although we never did the tour, the shop is very good. Perfect gifts or treats, ideal for experts in Whisky or those who like to browse, like us.

A fantastic tour of The English Distillery on Saturday with all the family.
The Guide Joy was excellent. Very informative and entertaining with some great nuggets of advice on choosing and drinking whisky. The tasting was also very enjoyable, as was the shop.
At the end of our tour Joy shared a wonderful poem she had written ( which had earned an invite to a Buck Palace Garden Party). It was very moving.
All in all an excellent tour of a very impressive distillery that I would recommend to anybody even if you’re not a big whisky lover/ drinker.

We had an excellent tour today led by John. John talked about the history of The English Distillery and the process of whisky making in an enjoyable and humourous way.

We had a wee dram at the end of the tour and then few little samples before deciding which bottle to take home. Would definitely recommend.

Very good tour, exceptional knowledge and really welcoming. We went for The create your own whisky tour. The tour was amazing, the making and tasting at the end was equally as good. The members of staff were really helpful at the tasting and mixing part of the tour. Fully recommend a visit even if you don’t like Whisky, the atmosphere and surroundings are to be enjoyed by all.

Visited today for a tour, our guide (Mick ?) was fantastic, he gave a full insight into the whole process and the history behind the Distillery, he answered all the questions and you could see how enthusiastic he is about the distillery.

The shop stocks so many different types of thetr whiskey along with other gifts, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, I would certainly recommend a visit and a tour
