We stayed at the farm in July. We were lucky with the weather. Great location, quiet, relaxing, and dark at night to see the stars. Our hosts Emma and Tony, were extremely friendly and very helpful and approachable. We had Honey and biscuits when we arrived which was lovely. We purchased further jars of honey when we left. It is a great site from which to visit Newquay, Perranporth, St Ives, Falmouth the list goes on. Emma recommended taking the scenic train to St Ives parking at St. Erth Rail station. The luxury mobile home was spotless and very comfortable. We will certainly be returning.

We stayed here this month (May21) & loved the place, we were welcomed upon arrival, the caravan was spotless, there was info available of the surrounding area, we even had a free jar of their honey & some welcoming biscuits. The following day the lady had even left us fresh eggs at the door of the caravan & we could stay in touch by text if we needed to.
A very tranquil place & it was fab listening to the wildlife & peacocks, a great home base for us.
So why a four & not five star.
Well, we care a lot about the environment & do whatever we can to help in our own little way which I guess is why it was so nice for us to be in this setting for a few days but for whatever the reason which for me won’t be good enough there is no evidence of recycling your rubbish here which is really surprising given the whole feel of the place. I saw only black bags & there was no colour bag differential to do this in your caravan & I wondered how many caravans would end up here & how many black bags of refuse would be cast out into landfill every week at the bottom of the lane. There were two bags of the same colour so we could separate ours & take our recycling home in the boot to do, outside the caravan was one wheelie bin for your rubbish, meaning black bag rubbish basically, no recycle bin & so no evidence of it taking place at all.
My advice to this business is don’t make excuses for this epic error, explain what you would like visitors to do as you do already in respect of the caravan they are staying in & how it should be managed & respected. As a business you simply cannot afford to skirt around anything environmental these days particularly within the business setup & location that you have. Go above & beyond environmentally & keep running with it, you could come up with some fab ideas there like your own wind turbine for the caravan electric just as an example.
Would I stay here again, absolutely but I would need to know that I would rate it a five*.

We stayed in a charming caravan in beautifully peaceful surroundings with only the owls at night. Caravan was immaculate, owners friendly, efficient and approachable. Surroundings were very attractive even in a damp week. Countryside and nearby Perranporth are also very attractive. I can wholeheartedly recommend The Cornish Bee Farm as a quiet holiday stay. We will DEFINITELY be returning.
