A wonderful little space.

They sell delicious cheeses, a wide range of local and international beers and a great choice of natural wines.

They also have local ice cream if you're looking for somewhere on a warm and sunny day.

The owners are so friendly and helpful. You should definitely check it out if you're a local or just visiting the canals and millennium way.

Fabulous little shop. Lots of artisan cheese, German/Belgian beers and snacks to buy (whats not to like?) Nothing like a super tasty charcuterie snack to kick off a bank Holiday weekend 😀

One of the best shops in New Mills! A fantastic selection of quality beers, with a focus on, but not restricted to locally produced beers. Lots of other good stuff too, including wine & of course cheese. Fantastic location & helpful service too. Give it a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Delighted to have discovered this (relatively) local cheese shop. Was given very helpful advice regarding how long the various cheeses will keep and when is the best time to buy for Christmas. I will definitely be going back.
Updating this review on Boxing Day, having been back just before Christmas to buy a selection of cheeses for the festive season. Plenty of choice and good advice. The cheeses I bought were all in excellent condition - I have never seen a cheeseboard disappear so quickly.

Just adding that I again visited the Cheese Wheel ahead of Christmas 2023. Always a good selection, always good advice. The cheeses I chose were all in superb condition and went down a treat with everyone at Christmas. Also a bit of a talking point as people try to work out which is their favourite. So delicious and fun at the same time. What's not to like?

Great little cheese and beer shop to happen across on our walk.

The beers are expensive, but unique and reflective of the price for these craft and European brands.

We bought some cheese (you can order whichever weight you prefer), crackers (including gluten free) and a couple of bottles.

Staff were friendly on both days we stopped by and were able to tell us about the produce.

They accepted card payment happily.

What a wonderful, local cheese shop. Filled with a wide range of cheese, chutneys, crackers, European beers, and even a selection of wine. Happy to see some non alcoholic options too.
