We were visiting York this weekend for the first time! And our airbnb host recommended Catton Kitchen for breakfast. Situated right in the middle of some idyllic fields we sat outside and have the best English breakfast ever! Friendly staff and quick service the rare gem for the perfect spot for a Sunday brunch! I brought some local honey from the shop and the coffee was really lovely too! Thanks guys what a win!

Popped in whilst out cycling as had cycled passed many times. The kitchen is different but in a very nice way. Thoroughly enjoyed my bacon bap and had excellent service. Will be back again. 👍

We absolutely love it here! Amy & Hugo have made such a success of this venture. We love walking our dog down the lane and enjoying a weekend cooked breakfast and meeting friends.
All food served and sold is hand reared or hand made by Amy!
There is now a warming log burner undercover - so cosy too. Plus a very friendly chef!

Just go. It is simply the loveliest place to eat, chat, drink and enjoy beautiful food. The lamb and pork is outstanding and the breakfast are fabulous. A wood burning stove next to the shack is cosy and yet in the middle of the countryside.

Another delicious breakfast made with top quality produce by a top chef. Very friendly people who are rightly proud of what they have achieved. Couldn’t leave without a pack of sausages and some homemade pies from the fridge.I’m not usually keen on sausages but these are amazing all meat no gristle to be seen! A really quirky place just need some sunshine to sit outside!
