There is a communal cooking area with ample equipment including gas hot plates, fridge and freezer space, pizza oven and BBQ. The showers supply unlimited hot water but it is housed in a very basic "shed" as are the loos. There isn't any electric hookup available and the grass could do with a cut. Having said that it was a really lovely place to stay. It's very safe for children and they spent all day, and long into the evening, playing in the fresh air. It is a really peaceful, quiet and calm place and even though we only stayed a few nights I feel like my batteries have recharged. We will definitely go again.

I highly recommend this place for a group booking - between us as a large family with small children, we were staying in the pig shed cottages, the yurt, 2 campervan pitches and the shepherd's hut. George is a responsive, attentive host and the Farm itself is really well equipped. We had everything we needed. Beautiful location, lots of shelter from the sun/rain including the use of a large barn. Really family friendly!

We used this amazing venue for a family gathering in May and it did not disappoint. The barn and adjacent courtyard were beautiful, with the camping and pig shed cottages perfect for those that stayed overnight. George was an amazing host, so helpful and informative and we would recommend Rushmere to anyone!

Just an unbelievable place not far away from civilisation but it has a way of making you feel nicely removed from it. Great selection of green wood workshops to attend. We've been for the refugee fundraiser knees up event and since then we had our wedding there and it could not have been better! Beautiful surroundings on a working family farm where they produce their own oat milk.

What a wonderful weekend! I cannot thank Ivan, George and Uncle David enough for such an amazing two days. Everything about it was just magical; the setting was beautiful, the yurt was so cosy, the food was delicious and I'm still amazed that I managed to make such an impressive wooden stool - completely from scratch! I've never done any type of woodwork before, and Ivan is the perfect teacher - calm, patient and great fun. I wish George and his family every success with their fantastic organic farming venture too. You deserve the best of everything. Thank you for such a memorable, restorative and unique weekend.
