Just started using this butchers as supermarket meat is so disappointing. Bought venison which was so fresh and delicious. Also, the beef stewing steak was in a different league and took me back to my childhood. Would absolutely recommend and check out their delivery option if the weather's bad! Chicken breasts were stunning too.

In 2017, I lived in that area and I entered this grocery store only once to buy pork belly. I would like to say that I was served very nicely by a blonde lady and the meat was fresh and very tasty. If I get to that area again, I will definitely come here again. All the best from Romania

I use this butchers shop regularly. Living in the Kingswood area, it is sad to say we no longer have a butchers here. Being VERY old fashioned and a 'traditionalist' I cook liver casserole at least once every fortnight, and may I say, this butchers sells the BEST tasting liver I have ever cooked, just a total thumbs up to the Butchers Hook. Won't use this butchers again, for years we used them, they made all the bacon in house, we'd order an Xmas turkey from them, would be superb quality, lately all their bacon is wet cured and not done in house, all the meat comes in frozen which I'm pretty sure needs to be mentioned by law, the last straw was when I went to order my Xmas turkey this year I was told it was going to be £25 per kg for my bronze turkey, I phoned Ruby and whites, a famous and longstanding quality butchers in Bristol and ordered there for considerably less, sad to see the place go so down hill

Just bought a rib eye from Don Hayes and hands down it was one of the best steaks I have ever had at home!! Juicey lush piece of meat!! Will be buying more...actually I might go back and buy another right now. Oh and the take card!
