Nice shop, but don’t get takeaway from here. They charge the same as if you sit in, and you can see from the pictures it was terrible value! £7.90 for a kids sandwich that was one slice of bread with some tuna scattered inside and a handful of cheap tortillas. The adult one wasn’t much better. The roll was nice, but the salad was brown and for £10+ as a takeaway sandwich it was shocking. It was too nice a day to sit indoors, but it’s cheeky to charge so much for such poor offerings. I also asked for a bag for the 3 sets of sandwiches and apparently, despite spending £45 in the shop, this was a hassle for the staff. Service therefore didn’t make up for the poor value.

Lovely, lovely people here. Only stopped in to refill our water bottles and get a tea while on the Fife Coastal Path, which they were happy to do. While waiting, we looked around at all the sweet products on sale, many if not most locally produced. Would definitely like to stop in here again and have a proper look.

Popped in today for coffee and cake whilst on holiday. Delighted to find such a warm and friendly reception, delicious cake and an interesting selection of gifts to buy(yes, of course I bought something!). Well worth a visit. I'll be back the next time I'm up, thanks for the nice chat.
