i was so excited to go to my favourite tea brand’s head quarters, even embarking on a train journey to get there, only to discover when i got there that place is not open to the public. i was very disappointed, and also cold and wet from the cruel english springtime weather. AND worst of all, my belly was empty of tea.

please update your google maps description to prevent more people from experiencing this letdown.

First time trying Taylors of Harrogate and snagged some Rich Italian Beans, not too bad! Good flavor, bold with edgy punch. I want to try the Hot Lava Java blend next, but is pretty difficult to find them in Beans and not grounded round the grocery store.

I wanted to share with everyone, excellent customer service that was provided to me by this company.
I have been drinking yorkshire gold for a long time as I do like a strong cup of tea. More recently I bought a couple of boxed and the perforations were not right hence when I tried to separate the two bags they ripped instead so I wrote to their customer services this tea is not cheap.
Anyways Judith wrote back to me within a couple of days and asked me to send them the packaging details and also offered to replace the boxes of tea. I thought that was such a generous offer and she was so polite.
I sent all the details and within a week received a box neatly packed with new boxes of tea.
A big thank you to this company and their staff. Hats off to them

Taylors Assam Tea one of the best in the market. Difficult to find in supermarkets in Italy so buy it online - Amazon or whoever! Great tea!

I went to get my usual 1/2 lb (227g) bag of “Lazy Sunday” coffee from Sainsbury’s a few day ago, when I saw it had a little “New” sign on it. Well what could be “new” about the product I wondered. It was the same blend and price. The packaging was the same, apart from the “new” word. Then I spotted it. It’s a new size of package. No longer is it 227g. It’s new size is just over 10% smaller at 200g. So you pay the same price for 10.35% less. Whoopee!
This is called SHRINKFLATION and is most unwelcome.
