We went to Slomo sauna and fell in love! We did a communal and private hire of the floating sauna for 8 people. I’ve been to 5+ saunas in the UK and this was by far my favourite. The facilities have everything you could need and the lake was so awesome. Jessie and Fenn took such good care of us and we can’t wait to go back!

Did a sauna and lake dip hour at the Slomo area and absolutely loved it! Fen the lifeguard and Jesse the sauna master were kind and friendly and made the experience unforgettable!

The farm is fantastic, lots inside and outside to do for all ages. We have significant age gaps with our children and they all enjoyed it. Even the man child! Particular highlights were the pedal gokarts that really highlighted how unfit I am as well as how competitive we all are!

tapnell farm is an amazing day out for any age group, but especially for young children. me and my partner went as a couple for the afternoon and we were spoilt with amazing things to do. getting to tapnell farm is no issue, as theyre all fast roads. parking once there is also cushty. the gift shop sells local produce, which is lovely to see! we went into the cafe which sells coffee on the farm and their coffee is made with very good quality beans. i had a caramel iced latte and certainly wasn't disappointed!

there is an enormous range of animals here, and many activities to do involving these animals. i fed a wallaby which was by far the best part of my day. this doesn't even scratch the surface of what there is to do here for children, as there is a whole activity/play area dedicated for that, including football golf, mini putt, zip lines, a hot air trampoline, cycling, etc etc. the list just goes on and on.

i would recommend tapnell farm to everyone!

Very enjoyable farm . Lots of activities to do like feeding the wallabies, Archery and crazy golf. Perfect for families with kids . They also have restaurant but can be fully booked on busy times like lunch. They have a play room for billiards and darts. Over all really good. Location was on top of the hill with the view of the mountains but it was like just 15-20mins drive to the ferry terminal. Very nice view early morning if it’s foggy, cozy weather with some sheeps and horses on your view.

Loved the pic your own pumpkins, live music & activities like axe throwing at tapnell farm. The only thing I was surprised at was the price of entry to see the animals. Would of worked out about £40 entry for my family. Apart from that, the farm was really clean, loads to do, good atmosphere and fun for kids too.
