Chanced upon this place while walking thru Oxford. Ordered a flat scoop of pistachio, which was absolutely creamy and delicious. Was a bit on the sweeter end and can certainly be taken down a few notches. Was hoping to try 2 different flavors within a single cup, but was told that was not an option. Something to consider changing as would like to break up the flavors instead of A monotone of a single flavor in a cup. Would certainly revisit.

Oxford swoon is a lot like bath swoon. Very lovely gelato as always, but a bad atmosphere and quite rude staff. this is my experience.

I ordered a raspberry and chocolate sorbet to combo, as you can see by the picture. Immediately, what I heard was NO MUSIC. I feel background music is the most important for a shop to succeed to give a good atmosphere; but no, there wasn’t music. The staff were a bit unkind and judging my looks which weren’t very nice and they gave me a much smaller scoop than anyone there. But other than that, it was lovely.

Swoon in Oxford is hands down the best place in town! The current seller (Zeinap) is incredibly kind, respectful, and attentive, providing impeccable service that makes every visit an absolute pleasure. This is a complete turnaround from before, as the previous staff member was unfortunately quite rude, which made the experience unpleasant. Thanks to the change in personnel, Swoon has truly elevated its standards and become a must-visit spot in Oxford. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best service and quality in town!

To say I’m addicted to this establishment is an understatement. Chocolate sorbetto is now my crack, I understand why it has a 3 star great taste award. Have tried all the flavours that sound up my street at this point and other highlights are the tiramisu and amarena cheesecake, but that chocolate sorbetto is something else… 🤭 Imagine chocolate ganache in ice cream form. Staff are always friendly and fast, love coming in here for a sweet treat. Also so reasonably priced! And a 10% student discount 👌

The ice cream was delicious, and I ended up getting three scoops. However, I'm pretty puzzled because I saw at least ten groups of customers there, and I was the only one not offered a sample. I felt discriminated against, perhaps because I was the only Asian among them (maybe Asians aren't welcome👲). Also, when I asked if I could wash my hands, the staff reacted agitatedly and said 'No!No!No!'. I think their service could be improved.

The gelatos were very good (hazelnut was great), the place was very busy and with few options available and queue to order. Definitely will try another day (less busy).
