The farmer's market is a beauty to behold. I particularly love the arrangement, so beautiful. The foods are peculiar and spectacular. You can find very rare type of foods and mostly street foods. There are various fruits and spectacular produce. You can almost be lost in all the products. However the prices are relatively higher.

This is for Chez Francis et Sylvie and their La Fromagerie at Swiss Cottage Farmers Market. I stood in line for almost 20 minutes with zero acknowledgment from either person working at their stall. They are an older couple, very interested in anyone French, but incredibly slow. I waited patiently behind an Indian man waiting for Sylvie and another French man being served by Francis. When it was my turn, Sylvie wrongfully believed an American mother and daughter were ahead of me. If either her or Francis had checked their line they would have clocked I was there as I had perused their stall in front of Francis for 5 minutes and then waited in line in front of Sylvie for another 15 minutes. When it was my turn and I greeted Sylvie, she insisted I was behind the mother and daughter. When I asked her why she believed that I was behind them she pretended to not understand me. How convenient to resort to confusion when called out. I turned to the mother and daughter behind me and confirmed I was ahead of them and the daughter said that I was indeed ahead of them. The mother made a comment that she made eye contact with Sylvie and that’s why Sylvie assumed they were ahead of me. Then that makes this ok, right? Nope. Not once did Francis or Sylvie acknowledge me even when looking at their saucisson and cheeses. I didn’t get the privilege to catch their eye or make eye contact. They are very verbose and chatty with their French customers. I speak French and what mundane and boring conversations they were having that still didn’t get them to acknowledge other people waiting to buy from them. Well, acknowledge those that are of a darker complexion. Sylvie and her feigned ignorance of her customers in line is disgusting. I politely took my business elsewhere. It seems she does this often from others I spoke to. If you’re a person of colour, take your business elsewhere.

It's handy to have a mid week market, in case I run out of something. There are a few old friends there; the organic grocers. There's a chap who sells good lamb but sadly no fish. The best bit is the lovely chap who makes me my double expresso. He always remembers my order.

Conveniently located by exit from Swiss Cottage tube. It has three excellent bakers, good veg a butcher and the best cheese of any FM I have been to.

Everything looked and smelt lovely and fresh. I wished that I lived local and not in Wales, so that I could buy different produce. I did have a donut from a stall and it was delicious. The stall was at the top end of the market facing the tube stairs/entrance.

This is a good little market that's conveniently located. All of the produce and delicacies on display look very tasting and tempting. For sure you have to be a little bit careful because the prices reflect the location. Nevertheless for a treat it's a great place to visit.
