This urban farm has a variety of flowers and plants as well as animals (sheep/lambs/pigs/ goats/ ducks and more). There is an amazing coffee shop selling drinks, pastries and toasties etc. - very tasty, good quality. A shop is there too and guides who can tell you about the farm and also the history of the wharf. There is a blacksmith there too. The building used for this is the old receiving station where Dr Ricketts assessed smallpox patients. The wharf was originally called Albion Wharf before being bought by the Metropolitan Asylum Board (MAB) for £13,000 in the early 1880s. There are some pieces of MAB china in a display case; various boards display historical facts about different eras with drawings and photos. An outstanding place! (Plus a visit nearby to the park, also free roaside parking for 3 hours, if you can get a space; or paid roadside parking for 4 hours).

Staff are so caring towards the animals and very knowledgeable. Animals seem really happy. It's a lovely little farm.
We were lucky enough to bottle feed the lambs, but there are events throughout the year to help bring people in and hopefully help support the farms funding.
The café was very nice too

Little bit small, but still a lovely farm. Perfect for kids. They also have a coffee shop there with a view.

I went to Surrey Docks Farm for the first time today and they were having a Harvest Festival event going on and I thought it was the opportune time to have my first visit.

First of all, it was a fantastic event and I had a real smashing time.
Was in my element with all the animals and animal lovers for sure.

The facilities and enclosures there are great not only for the animals but the public visiting too.
You can see that the staff and volunteers really care for the animals.
This is shown by how healthy the animals look.

You can feed some of the animals there, buy feed from their lovely little farm shop, and off you go.
Speaking of the farm shop, they have a rotating selection of farm produce for sale throughout the year, fresh eggs in the more, seeds, some farm and animal themed toys for the kiddies and so on.
I highly recommend donating as admission is completely FREE ! SO SUPPORT IF YOU ARE FINACIALLY ABLE!

Despite the restricted space they have being in London they provide such a lovely space for visitors and the local community.

Check them out.

Thank you Surrey Docks Farm Team! Keep up the great work.

I took my 90 year old father John who was in his wheelchair, to the farm on Friday 25th April 2025, to bottle feed the lambs. It was an amazing experience, especially for my dear dad as he said he will never forget this. A special memory. He was also given an adorable 2 weeks old lamb to sit on my dad's lap. They both developed a lovely I would say. The staff are amazing. Everyone works hard there and dedicated to their jobs. You can tell the passion the staff have. These animals are so special and are very much cared for. Well done to all staff, volunteers
and management. We will definitely come again. It's the best farm we've been to. It doesn't matter whether it's small or big, it's perfect and suitable for us.

Beautiful place where to unwind from the city traffic and to relax with family, learning something new about animals and plants. Strongly recommended form families but also for couples for a romantic day. There is a little coffee shop - and a products shop. There are toilets inside the farm.

Surrey Docks Farm is a wonderful place to visit for anyone who loves animals! The farm has a range of animals – from goats and pigs to ferrets and donkeys – and it’s lovely to see them up close right in the heart of London. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and the staff are clearly passionate about what they do. Highly recommended!

Wow- what a place! Went with my kids (5 and 8) to the 'farm tour' and feed the lamb. Was blown away with how amazing the farm is! The £150 felt SO worth it. A real life experience for the kids. Highly recommend! Connor, our guide, was fantastic! Thank you!
