Always visit this charity shop in Stockport underbank. The manager and staff are always friendly and willing to help out, they have a great selection of different items I love the cameras, keep up the great work guys we do appreciate it.

My husband and I brought a few boxes of donations to this shop. The woman in the shop loudly proclaimed “I’m very fussy about what donations I accept so you’ll probably end up taking half of it away”. She actually expected us to wait there while she cherry picked the items from the boxes. How entitled is that.

We ended up leaving and taking the whole lot down to Mind in Didsbury who gratefully accepted the lot

I have been making donations to this charity shop for many years. I am delighted to do so and support this important charity. However I will not be making any further donations following an extremely unpleasant experience I have just had to endure at the hands of a member of staff. I was asked, quite correctly, if I used Gift Aid. I replied that I didn't (I'm a non tax payer) & proceeded to depart the shop. She shouted "You don't even know what it is". I was absolutely staggered and very insulted by her words & behaviour. I politely responded that I am fully aware of what Gift Aid is and of my non-tax paying status. Quite frankly I should not have to explain my status and I really don't think it is acceptable to be spoken to in this way. I removed my donations and placed them with another of the charity shops in Heaton Moor.

I was so happy to visit the shop in Heaton Moor, it looked and felt like it had a complete makeover! It is so well laid out, so organised and clean and tidy, really lovely. And there is such a great range of stock, and well priced too.
Well done to the lovely new manageress, she is doing a great job.

As a volunteer at this shop I would highly recommend volunteering here as one can arrange volunteering hours to suit ones needs (no fixed rota) which many charities do not do. It is a small, warm welcoming shop with pleasant volunteers and staff and a variety of items to choose from.
