Stubbers Adventure Centre - Upminster

My 11yr old Grandson has been to Stubbers with his school, he had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed his mini adventure break, based on the Ockendon Road, Upminster. It is an expansive site with a very large Lake. Parking was simple with two large car parks.
He has participated in a whole host of activities including climbing, laser tag, water sports like paddle boarding and banana boat.
The only criticism my grandson had was the tents were very cold and he couldn’t warm up, even in his sleeping bag with pjs and a hooded onesie on.
He has had an experience that I’m sure will stay with him forever.

We enjoyed the air rifle shooting. The person showing us what to do was friendly and knowledgeable.
It was clean and tidy. The cafe had a small selection of hot food that was freshly heated up. Plenty of seats outside. Lots of parking. There was a park to play in, which was fun.
The only issue I had was navigating the website. Where I clicked on the air rifle picture on the home page and booked it, it didn't once say about paying general admission for any adult not taking part. I thought I was included as a supervising adult. I only realised once I had the booking confirmation and called up to clarify.

Perfect place for spending all day with family. Love new attractions for kids and lots of to do. We were visiting this park often a couple of years ago, so I was surprised to see all the changes.
Need to pay for entrance so not too crowded. Adult £3, child £4, under 5 free. Spacious free parking. Toilets on site. Clean and well taken care.
Coffee shop expensive and unfortunately card payment only.

Great day out with my kids. We all did archery- the instructor was fab and really good with supporting the differing ability of the kids. They learnt lots whilst having a good time. Fantastic range of adventure playgrounds and a new trail to add to a good value day out. The staff are also really welcoming and friendly, even on a chilly February day!

We love taking the Children here regardless of the weather. We haven't used a great deal of the activities due to our children being under 4 but are often in the play area, on the beach or using the pedalos.

The cafe is also excellent, the staff are very friendly and sell a wide variety of drinks or snacks. We often read with the children in there.

We will be renewing our annual membership in June.

We had fun kayaking and the scenery was great! However, our experience was ruined when the female receptionist with glasses was trying to make us repay the entrance fee when she checked us in after our pre-booking. She saw us leave to collect things from the car park and would not let us back in - she left the desk shortly after so we had to wait for a family to let us in.
Last time we went here this was not a problem, so we were shocked when we were met with this rude encounter.

This is one of our absolute favourite places to be, especially in the spring/summer months. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful, the activities are second to none and the facilities are fantastic. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Took my 8 years old niece and 5 year old nephew. Booked in advance online and was very quick and easy to book. Parking is available onsite for free. Getting in was very quick and easy. The children's play area is large and the kids absolutely loved all the equipment, which is very study and well built. We also went on the pedalos and did archery (both cost extra) - the staff were all really friendly and I especially want to give a huge thank you to Max who was super kind and patient with the kids during archery and made their day. We finished the day with the Discovery Trail - this is a lovely walk by one of the lakes and in the woodland. We would have stayed longer but had to leave as it was closing. Will definitely be back!
