Great food, big portions.

Have tried mac and cheese with fried chicken and chipotle and mustard sauce along with habanero wings (They were spiced but good spice)

Dirty fries with pulled chicken, lettuce and salad, cheese and Parmesan is a good combo along with chipotle sauce.

Great Tex Mex* (and more) option in Theale/Reading.

Would highly recommend their Mac Americano (worth the wait) with all the trimmings a great Mac & Cheese. Menu also very interesting including the Don Carne (again recommended with full trimmings)

I didn't dine in but the location is quite cozy - but well appointed with Tables sitting 4 and some bar stools with a Eat and Go feel.

Initially Parking put me off - but there is plenty Free On Street Parking. Also EV chargers near by.

As a customer who is sitting on over 91 deliveroo orders and having surpassed countless loyalty cards for food purchases. I can assure you this place is the bomb, with an impeccable welcoming atmosphere, reliably consistent tasty food and a manager who is always willing to correct or compensate any issues that you may have with an order. Street food shack ticks all the boxes ✔️ the sauce selection leaves no one out and having the ability to mix and match sauces, makes for adventurous flavourful combinations. Overall if you’re a fan of healthy, hearty Mexican food then you can’t miss out on this place!

Excellent spot to eat on the go!

The owner was extremely kind to us, and he gave us great menu recommendations. It's very clear he seriously cares about the quality of the service and food, and it shows both in the taste of the final product and in the friendly atmosphere.

I'm not giving it 5 stars on the food just because the empanadas were phenomenal but they were a bit on the small side for the price (although we're originally from Argentina, so you might say we're biased here!). We're still coming back for more, and we strongly recommend paying them a visit, that's for sure!

Absolutely fantastic experience, all the staff were so welcoming and attentive. Had the Don Carne Burrito which was so flavourful, and perfectly seasoned, genuinely the best halal burritos I’ve had in a long time. The menu has great variety of options, and had nice spicy sauces if you like a kick. Also tried the chicken wings tortillas chips and everything tasted amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious halal Mexican food with amazing service. Can’t wait to come back!

1000% would recommend popping in here for a great feed. Hands down my favourite Mexican I’ve had so far since moving to the UK.
The beef brisket is so full of flavor and juicy. As you can see from the photos we ordered quite a lot and there wasn’t a single bad plate of food.
Every plate was delicious and very reasonably priced.
If you’re in the Reading area and are looking for some amazing food, definitely stop off here. 🙂

First time I've been here and I'll definitely be back. The food was fresh and delicious and made quickly. The lunchtime meal deal is just right for a decent sized filling lunch.

We had the BBQ chicken wings which were delicious, two burritos which were absolutely delicious! The coriander and lime rice was so fresh tasting and delicious. We also got a cheesy nachos and they were really good. The cheese was just right and wasn't spicy. The guacamole was fresh and tasty. We also got a lime Jarriots drink to try and it was so good.

The customer service was second to none and the place was clean and tidy. There's also a couple of tables inside to sit and eat if you wanted to.
