Fast Osprey charging for the car , fresh produce, home made cakes, pastries, salads and more; and all served in a fabulous welcoming and spotlessly clean environment by a warm and friendly team of people! Who could want more and why would you ever visit a regular service station when you can have this!

A brilliant stop just off the A38, especially for electric vehicles. We have visited three times. The totally reliable Osprey chargers work with Visa and Mastercard so no app or RFID card needed and with 16 CCS and 16 CHAdeMO at up to 300kW, no queues and a charge to 90% took only 30 mins. Only just enough time for a coffee and a very generously sized cake in the cafe. Also a good selection of farm produce to buy if you live or are self-catering nearby. Stopped there again yesterday - staff really friendly and more great cakes. Excellent.

Visited as a family of five on a Sunday early afternoon.
Plenty of parking. Good location just off the A38.
CCS & CHAdeMO car chargers only, sadly no slower type-2 connectors for some PHEV vehicles. Plenty of charging stations though.
Staff were friendly and patient whilst we decided what we wanted. No queue when we arrived, but a large amount of people arrived after us which formed a sizeable queue.
Ample seating including covered and uncovered outdoor seating to rear.
Sausage roll was a little undercooked.
Iced coffee and tea was nice.
Good choice of food and drink plus a small farm-shop selection of food to take including discounted products.
The beeping devices they give you to advise when your order is ready to collect are loud and intrusive, making it sound like a McDonalds with devices regularly beeping loudly. Would be a much more pleasant atmosphere if these just buzzed like in some pubs and restaurants, rather than beeping. Or better still, if there was table service.
Pricing of food and drink varies, some reasonable (pie), some quite expensive (scotch egg). Cost for eating in is more than taking out.
Overall a nice place to stop for a quick drink and snack when passing. Recommended.

Stopped here to use the EV chargers and popped in for a coffee and a sausage roll. Back again a couple of days later for another coffee and a cake on our way home. Fabulous local produce and a great place to stop to charge the car. Recommended.

Lovely little cafe, gorgeous good food and lovely staff! What's not to like?

Oh and lots of charging stations for electric cars too.

Had a bacon butty which was packed with bacon and two proper cuppas.

Excellent pasties, sausage rolls, hot drinks and even homemade pizzas that can be heated to take away.

Large selection of produce, meats, and everything else you'd expect from a good farm shop.

Sit in, seating outside or takeaway.

Not cheap, but great quality food is worth paying for, and this is definitely great quality food

Lovely little restaurant inside & out, food was fresh.
Farm shop had plenty of fresh vegetables & well priced.
Had a range of meats, cheeses, pies cakesetc.
Service was with a smile in the cafe, proper cups, with saucers.
Nice place to visit of the beaten track .

Very disappointing experience. Having been to their Lifton shop I was excited to visit one closer to home. There was a long black hair baked into the slice of cake. When it was taken back we were told "the cakes outside aren't made by us". We were given a new piece but no compensation. The coffee and hot chocolate was machine made and tasted like nothing. There was a lot of sediment at the bottom of the cups. For the price of the food and drinks we expected a lot better quality. Unlikely to return and would not recommend.
