At Stonepits Farm, strawberry picking is a great, affordable morning out in the countryside. The strawberry fields are lovely for families to pick their own fresh strawberries. We even spotted a nesting pheasant during our visit, which was a nice surprise.

Plenty of parking available and although there were a lot of people there, it didn’t feel too busy.

Just a heads up, though - the portaloos could do with a good clean. Despite that, picking strawberries at Stonepits Farm was enjoyable overall, offering a fun and budget-friendly experience in a beautiful setting.

Very nice venue for strawberry picking. Went today and still plenty to choose from. No bells and whistles or admission fees here, just park up by the fields, grab a container and fill up! Enjoy !

Apart from the tasty strawberries, the folking evening was just cheap childcare for parents. I expected a relaxing evening with live music but not the case just chaotic young kids charging around. They don’t respond to emails either! Shame.

Really disappointing. Strawberry picking trip ruined because owners wouldn't let us picnic on the grounds. Said the reason was they needed to free up the (half empty) car park. Money making prioritised above customers experience. Very personal trip for me. Whilst in hospital with my premature baby I focused on one happy future memory and this was it. Now that's been ruined by the owners greed.

Plenty of strawberries. Minimal insects though so you do wonder on the treatment. Also v rude owners banning any picnics on their land so you get in your car and go earlier to let more people to buy strawberries in. There was plenty of room for more cars in the car park area.

Amazing farm experience, it's situated amidst the beautiful hills and they offer PYO on variety of strawberries and raspberries were in the ripening stage. A wonderful day out with kids and family

Strawberries ready to pick now. Go during the week, as weekends can be very busy. £3 per 450 grams, so more expensive than supermarkets but at least they are not grown in poly tunnels. Lovely location and views. No toilets available on site.
