What a fantastic place the house was perfect for a big family gathering. Eight bedrooms one downstairs some with ensuite bathrooms. Big kitchen and living area. With a lovely conservatory.

Great place to meet up with family. Lots of rooms and beds, although the mattresses were on the rather firm side. The en suite shower in the room we had wasn't working however there was one just over the hall that we used. There's a fabulously large kitchen/diner which was very well equipped. All in all we had a great few days. The grounds and surrounding countryside was amazing. A definite I would say for a return visit.

good, comfortable space to breath for a large family at a difficult time.
Liked · On arrival, the owner and manager made us feel very welcome by giving us a tour of the property and handing us warm samosas and dip. The manager was really helpful about facilities and places to visit in the area, especially dog-friendly pubs. This was our first stay at Stenson Hill for a family gathering of 16 adults, 2 children, a baby and 3 dogs. The house was clean and spacious with a great range of kitchen equipment and utensils. The garden and outdoor areas are super with plenty of space for cricket and rounders. There is also a great pool/snooker room, selection of board games and tennis courts. Plenty to do for all the family. We would definitely like to visit again and would wholly recommend it.

This is a large property with ample parking and good motorway access in the centre of the country. It provides adequate bedroom space & capacity for 14 people. However the cottage can fairly be described as drab, dull & in places dirty. The facilities, decor & maintenance standards were well below what I would expect from a modern holiday cottage & represented poor value for money. It reminded me of holiday accommodation years ago which was often on the same site as the owners property and was furnished to a basic standard & priced accordingly. The holiday cottage has moved on, but this house has not.

The location maybe convenient for motorway access but was not a quite rural retreat.

I would not return nor recommend it.

18 of us stayed for family get together. Excellent choice in terms rooms and space to move around and garden. House furnishings jaded and old and warn out in need of refurbment. For the cost would have expected more the 1 black rubbish bag. In need of a deep clean. Certain things in house you had to pay to use?

Just returned after Christmas week at stenson hill farm, great for large family numbers, dogs and kids! Perfect house layout and everything possible provided. Caretaker very friendly and helpful. Great value for money and would recommend for large gathering. Great Christmas had by all

We have stayed with our extended family a few times over the years and if you want a large, comfortable place that is suitable for lots of kids, dogs and fun this is it. In a great location.
