Not a fish farm . Neglected farm pond that’s become overgrown and floods the banks on a regular basis . I believe there are reasons it’s been neglected in terms of work required not being done but what should be a 15 + peg fishery is now about 5 and has been abused and neglected very sad if you remember it as a farm pool pre warrington anglers to see the decline

This isn't a fish farm. Its is a fishing pond owned by Warrington Anglers Association. They patrol it regularly too so its good that no non-members get to fish there. There are plenty of carp, bream and pike. I am sure other species too but the afore-mentioned are the main stock. There was a carp of 20lbs in there 3 or 4 years ago, haven't heard anything of it coming out since. I believe the owners of the day ticket fishery behind (meadow view) sent people to catch fish from Statham pond at night with a view to then putting them into their fishery. Further, I believe this was done as the fishery lost a lot of their fish to statham pond during the floods a few years back.
