I visited Star Carr lake with my 11 year old son. I absolutely love it here. It's peaceful, clean and wonderful facilities particularly the clean toilets. The owner is very friendly and helpful. A must visit for all keen fishermen/women.

Well what can I say the place is immaculate toilets are 1st class n not just a hole in a box with saw dust same with washing facilities my 1st time fishing it but still left Happy with the amount I caught will do better next time,the owner is sound he has time for your Q's and his knowledge is massive.

This is a great traditional fishery, it is immaculately maintained with solid level pegs and access across the banks making pushing a trolley easy. the fishing is superb and Shane is friendly and always available to provide advice

Visited and fished for the 1st time today after following on Facebook for a while..wow..what a venue..absolutely stunning fishery.the place is immaculate and fishing heaven.spotless toilets..safe car parking. And amazing fishing to top it off. Credit to the owner who cant do enough for you..give it a go and see for yourself.

Clean, well cared for, excellent fish care, real friendly owner. Lots of choice of pags and three lakes offering bream, tench, Ide, crucians and more. Idyllic place with great attention to detail, tree planting and peg care. Site users are courteous and the toilets are spotless. Nets and mats provided on site, bring your own net pole. Natural baits work as well here as pellets.

Set in beautiful surroundings and plenty of lakes to fish at. Immaculately kept and loads of fish in the ponds. Very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend and will definitely go again.

Very well looked after venue. Good secure pegs. Loads of wildlife and serene surroundings. Plenty of fish to a good stamp in size. Owner a very nice chap.
