My wife and I used to live here for about 2 years. We rented what used to be the servants residence. It was a beautiful place to live, I would walk up into Whitwell were I worked at the Bull Inn. My wife worked in St.Albans at Sopwell House.

We have bought chickens from Stagenhoe over the years. A lovely family run business on a working farm setting. You need to make an appointment as this is a busy family farm, but then you will be assured of friendly, polite and first class service in selecting your hens. Would highly recommend a visit for laying hens!
