Mark, Deb, Chantelle and the whole team at the SWF have created the most amazing wedding venue and made our wedding day in August 2024 so magical. They helped us from the very beginning, providing advice and guidance on how the day could run, recommended suppliers and were always a text / call / email away. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they made the planning process seamless.

The venue itself is gorgeous set in the Saddleworth Hills and we had full rein of the venue for the full weekend. We could decorate it how we like and could make any finishing touches.

They make you feel part of their family (by welcoming you into their home) and this made the whole experience more personal and less stressful for us. You can tell they are proud of what they do, and have created, and want you to have the best wedding day possible.

You couldn't ask for anything more from the SWF!

We got married here in July 2024 and it was an unforgettable venue. The views over the hills were stunning and so many beautiful sites for photos. Great for kids as they were running round feeding the sheep and playing outdoor games. More than that, Mark, Debra and Jennie were fantastic. They took the time to really understand us as a couple and get us exactly what we wanted. They went the extra mile to help to create our perfect day - from hanging extra ‘green hangy things’ to driving us in a golf buggy up a hill for the best wedding shots. It can be difficult organising a wedding, but we always felt that we were in safe hands! Thanks so much from Rose and Dan. Xxx

We held our wedding at the Stables Wedding Farm in Summer 2024 and everything was perfect from start to finish!

Working with Deb and Mark on putting the day together was our highlight and we miss heading up to the venue for a catch-up and to discuss plans. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we often joked that we could have told Mark that we wanted a UFO landing on the marquee roof and he would have gone above and beyond to help out!

On the day of our wedding our (thought to be) worst nightmare happened and it absolutely bucketed it down as guests arrived and during the ceremony. However, Deb, Mark and the team had worked tirelessly to make sure everything ran smoothly and we can honestly say the rain had no impact on the day. We didn't believe this would be the case but it was honestly true!

The biggest compliment we had was a guest said "you have managed to hold the wedding that everybody wants to have but are too scared to plan". This wouldn't have been possible without such an amazing and flexible venue. We wanted a relaxed day full of fun and little of the usual tradition. The venue meant we could decorate as we wished and have any food we could possibly want.

We would recommend the venue to anybody, whatever the style of wedding you are looking for. We can't imagine another venue ran by people who care as much about your day as Mark and Deb and this honestly makes all the difference!

From start to finish, Mark and Deborah were absolutely amazing! A couple who really love what they do, they made our wedding day wonderful.

You really feel special when having a wedding at The Stables, as they don’t have weddings each day every weekend, you don’t feel like your on a conveyor belt of couples getting married, they can name each couple who have gotten married there, what date, how they dressed the venue, the band they had, everything! It’s so personal and you can really feel that, which is something we loved and it set them above the rest from other venues we’d looked at.

Not only are Mark and Deborah amazing, the venue itself is as well. The views you get there, as well as the picture opportunities are beautiful, our wedding was outside and the venue really made it. Even if it rains, they have plans in place for that by putting up a Perspex end, which doesn’t take away from the views at all! Luckily our wedding was on a hot day in day, but even if it rained, it still would have been the best day.

From beginning to end, the entire experience was amazing, and we couldn’t thank mark and Deborah enough for making our day so special, they deserve all the awards they are nominated for and more!

We had our wedding at Stables Wedding Farm last week (8th July) and we couldn't fault them at all. Mark and Deb couldn't do enough for us, from the first viewing, to the planning of the wedding and finally the big day itself. They really made our wedding a memorable day!

I've worked here as a wedding DJ, what a great place to host your big day! Mark and his team are not only the perfect host, I witnessed them go well above and beyond to make the wedding day perfect for the happy couple! All the staff were attentive, extremely professional and it's obvious they all really care. I would like to also extend my personal thanks for keeping me fed and watered throughout the day and going the extra mile with helping me load equipment. It's fair to say that the sheep are over friendly and even photobombed a few of the wedding pictures, Larry the sheep even wore a bowtie. Seeing a sheep where a bowtie is a first for me and a pleasant surprise for the wedding photographer. I've been to a few farm based wedding venues and not many of them have proper toilet facilities, but the Stables wedding venue has permanent toilet facilities and a bar, so no need to worry about mobile toilets or indeed external service providers for the bar. Everything you need is onsite. Also, the electricity for the marquee is run from a proper electricity supply, so no noisy or smelly diesel generator like you would get at so many farm based wedding venues. I Highly recommend you give Mark and his team a call if you're searching for a unique wedding venue with a fantastic view.

Where do we begin?!

From the hospitality, the atmosphere, the quirkiness, breath taking views for days, the rolling hills of Saddleworth, every photographers dream! The wildflowers, the love heart shaped pond, hobbit houses, hot tub, golf buggy ride up the gravel hill, this venue is just incredible, suprises & excitement at every corner!

The Stables Wedding Farm nestled away in the hills of Delph, is the most wonderful, unique, jaw dropping, beautiful wedding venue around.

The most generous, genuine, accommodating, lovely couple. From start to finish, you made our dreams come true and cannot thank you enough. We really did feel part of the family.

The wedding coordinator, Clarissa & Stables staff. Thank you for the organisation and assisting in the running order of the day. At no point did we feel stressed or overwhelmed, everything was perfect.

The food - we cannot recommend our Caterers enough. The best Lancashire Hog Roast based in Bury, Stove HB pizza and Ice cream Creations - you brought the festival vibe, variety & taste.

The music - Pop Rock Party based in Huddersfield, really do know how to party. Fab live music, we danced into the early hours.
