Really lovely cafe and farm shop! The staff are so friendly and the food is yummy. We had their steak baguette on their specials board and a lighter breakfast. The food tasted fresh and delicious☺️ plenty of parking, toilet and a lovely seating area outside if the weather is nice. We purchased some of their cabinet sweet treats to take home too - yum!

Friendly and inviting. Staff all seem genuinely happy to serve and accommodate. Now used the cafe about 4 times and apart from the latest sausage and jacket potato (which was good but not great value) all the food has been great. Not too far off the A1 at Leeming junction. Making it a much better choice than some motorway service area. Recommend.

Fabulous find!

Lovely farm shop and cafe! Lovely staff! Didn't seem quite as stuffy as your usual farm shop. Not massive but a good choice of food and gifts. Spotlessly clean and quick service.
The carrot cake was beautifully moist!

Easy parking.

Wheelchair friendly.

I would presume dogs would be welcome outside.

Good outdoor area too!

Will revisit. Would recommend.☺️

Open 0900 on a sunday- yes!
We were out presuming our hobby and was done by 0830. Needing refreshment and food, a quick search found spring house cafe 9 mins away from where we were. Along with about another 15 of us, we were all welcomed and seated, followed by a great breakfast.
Friendly efficient staff giving service with a smile. Recommended place to stop. Sadly, we're not due to that part of the country for a while but will definitely pop in when up.

Worst Sunday Dinner. 4x Sunday dinners and they were all consistently shocking. Really disappointing. Cannot support local produce if it’s so badly cooked. Roast potatoes - looked old and were tough/soggy. Cabbage looked fresh but raw. Gravy - tasteless, watery and greasy. Something tasteless and mashed up, some carrots in chunks. Will not come here again. Standards are poor.

Called in today for the first time, ordered 3x Full English Breakfasts, 1 Largs Crumpet with Bacon, tomatoes and egg & a Coronation chickpea Sandwich, not all for me I might add .....
All the hot food came out piping hot and was delicious, the Sandwich was fresh and really tasty,
The coffee was lovely too.
The staff were very friendly, my family and I left very happy and full .
Would definitely return if in the area.

Really lovely place to eat. There are so many pies and cake options and the staff are very friendly.

I had the bacon and brie sandwich - it was crammed with bacon though I did need to ask for a bit of extra cranberry sauce (which they happily provided).

The chicken curry pie was pretty good as well and my friend really enjoyed the ploughman's lunch.

We were tempted by a chocolate roulade, bought it and took it home. Sadly this was VERY disappointing. For £19 I expected more than a tasteless roll with whipped cream. Maybe this is all a roulade is meant to be but this one's found a new home in the bin.

We each had the large breakfast which was lovely. Proper farmhouse sausages and thick cut bacon. After the breakfast we went in the shop. We brought cheese scones and corniche pasties which we gave too family members when we got home and they all said they were delicious (it's very hard too please my fussy mum bit she loved her pasty). We also brought a pack of the susages which were the same as the ones on our breakfast. Again really tasty. All the staff were amazingly friendly. Would definitely visit again and will if we're up near york again
