Not what I envisaged and wanted to stop off for over 2 years and finally did this past week 16062024
Would say it’s based around a butcher and smaller satellite products added ie ice cream, cheese and some fresh veg. A small tea room to the back and seemed busy. Butcher seemed busy so must be good products as prices denote.

After years of enjoying good food, amazing cakes and a wonderful service, I can honestly say that this is one of my favourite local cafes.

The butchers has the finest meats around and with the beef and lamb reared on the farm you can’t get any better.
Definitely get there on a Friday or Saturday when the butchers has a full stock ?

We bought sirloin steak. As we have it cooked blue it has to be top quality otherwise it's impossible to eat. As this was our first visit we were a little apprehensive but no need to be. The steak was perfect and extremely tasty. We will go back just for the meat.

We visited the tea room yesterday and it was really lovely. It was busy however Jamie and the team were fast and helpful and the food was perfect.
Will definitely come again and look forward to more items appearing on the menu.
Great selection of meats in the butchers too and again, really lovely team and very helpful. Will definitely be purchasing my produce from here in the future.

Got some great value free range chickens, with giblets for once, so great stock and gravy to come. Very helpful lady served us, the chickens and some lovely looking sausage and black pudding. I’d definitely go back, shame it’s not nearer

Very nice relaxed cafe* serving homemade delicious food. Farm shop selling home produced meat, eggs, cakes, puddings and preservatives, fresh vegetables, and fruits.
* cafe can be very busy at lunchtime. For a special occasion, it will be better to reserve a table beforehand.
