A friend bought us the gin making experience as a Christmas present... What a great friend ! The evening started at 6pm with a good sized G&T, we were allowed to graze through a good selection of gins in order to select out next G&T. Richard ran through a history of gin and his knowledge and eagerness for all things gin shone through. After selecting some botanicals etc we filled up our own miniture still and produced a pretty decent dry gin to take home with us. While it was cooking a really good cheese and meat platter was on offer, again washed down with a good G&T. The evening finished off with a cocktail and a tour of the distilling room where Richard answered all our questions. A very personalised, fun evening out - Highly recommended - especially if you like gin !

Visited the Gin School on 9th December 2022. What a joy and fulfilling experience. Learned so much about gin, flavouring and respect for the whole artisan gin making process. We made a Navy Strength gin using core botanicals in our distiller and our own selected ingredients with guidance from Richard. The whole evening, with the group bonding so well, was accompanied with gin based cocktails and snacks, with food available from the restaurant next door. Highly recommended experience for gin lovers.

We were visiting Osprey and came across Spirit of Hertfordshire, it looked so enticing we had to go in. What a wonderful place! We enjoyed some free samples and left with purchases. Such a special space and the owner was just lovely. They also have amazing gift ideas. We will return and also look forward to booking a lesson at Gin School.
