I buy this food through a Raw supplier near me. My boy loves it and has never had a problem with it. I take the packaging off while it's frozen, place it in a plastic container with a lid and leave it to defrost in the fridge, then from fridge into the dogs bowl. I also feed Southcliffe sprats!

I started giving my dog this food about two weeks ago. So far he is absolutely loving it and there seems to be no Ill effects.

The reason I have deducted stars is because, as other reviewers have said, the packages are rarely sealed properly and blood often leaks out.

That said, the meat has never appeared or smelled gone-off. It is eaten within 12 hours of being pulled out of the freezer (defrosted at room temp).

So, whilst the leakage issue doesn't seem to cause any problems, it is a basic thing that clearly should have been rectified months ago.

I can't speak for the online service as I buy the food from a local retailer.

Like other reviewers, I would leave zero stars. Absolutely appalling. Ordered over a week ago, emailed repeatedly to chase order and now run out of food for my dog. You have to email, can't call to chase order and then 'Shaun' conveniently ignores emails. No apology, nothing. Steer well clear of Southcliffe and find yourself and your dog a reliable supplier!

Blood leaks out the packages.
Hit and miss, sometimes it smells absolutely vile, like gone off. I know tripe smells.
But the chicken one smells awful really bad
My dog sometimes eats it, then goes off it, which i can't blame her. Its a shame used to be a good brand.

Would give Zero stars if possible.
I ordered over a week ago and have received nothing. I have emailed and called and have been told repeatedly someone would call me but nothing. The person on phone was is dismissive. I don't know if the food will turn up each day so I can't go and buy elsewhere as my freezer can only store so much. I definitely will not use again, I need a reliable supplier.

I've been feeding Ziggy my staffie with this product for the last 12 months and its amazing the difference, before this he was on grain free dried food but since I changed his bowel function has improved, no longer are his stools loose and trumps are now a thing of the past thankfully. Must admit I feared changing to this raw diet could come with problems but after 12 months I havnt found one.

Packets are never properly sealed, and blood always leaks out of them. I've now had 2 mouldy pork meats, the meat has been a black/green after 24 hours of defrosting.
