We had a lovely time, the owners are very kind and welcoming, extremely helpful with explaining things. The place has everything you need and would want, the games room where everything is free to use, pool, sauna, and private hot tub, fantastic value for money. They even have hundreds of DVDs and books for you to borrow for your stay. Is only a 15 minute drive from the Eden Project. Would highly recommend anything from a couples getaway to a family holiday! And the pub is only a small walk down the road.

We stayed in the Shepard's Hut and loved it. Everything was perfect for our needs and we had a great weekend enjoying the hot tub, log fire and the surroundings. Simon and Debbie are excellent hosts and we are planning on a return visit soon and would recommend this to anyone.

We stayed in Linden cottage over the February half term 2023 as a family of 4 (2 children under 5). It was a lovely cottage with everything you need to make a home away from home. We didn't see our hosts apart from to get a travel cot from them the moment we arrived, which was fine by us. Perfect location to travel around the local area with Fowey, St Austell and Polkerris beach within easy driving distance.||The house itself was well stocked with all that you would need to keep a family entertained including a selection of games which we made the most of. The wood burning stove was also a welcome addition, but was also slightly difficult with an inquisitive 18 month old. Also the bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable, but the rooms downstairs were quite cold. I have no idea how the heating worked (storage heaters). Linden does not have a bath, so for a young family was a bit disappointing. We also thought the outside areas were a but tired (the play area) although it was nice to have and the pool room/swimming pool area were cold and not particularly welcoming for a fussy 5 year old. The table tennis table and football table were also slightly neglected with my husband reporting them as quite slimey. They may fare better in the summer, but in February they were not very inviting. Luckily our 5 year old was just happy enough to be on holiday and not at home (our first time away since Covid)!!||Having said all the above we had a lovely time and would recommend to friends and family.

What a beautiful cottage in an even more beautiful setting. |Superb base to discover the local area and beyond. |We stayed in Rowan which was very clean, extremely comfortable with everything you would need for a week. The tumble dryer was a good send as the weather wasn't so gracious every day. |We stayed with our 3 dogs and they gave it a big paws up too. |Throughly enjoyable week with in Cornwall with fantastic accommodation.

We had a week at Honeypin, booked fairly last minute so represented good value for money. Honeypin is designed for disabled access so has en suite wet rooms for both bedrooms. ||Location is good for the south Cornwall coast, with Fowey a few minutes away and relatively easy access to Bodmin, Eden Project and Lanhydrock. The farm is down a narrow private track around 300m, off a fairly narrow country road, so expect to get proficient at backing up to passing spaces. ||The farm is a collection of cottages and conversions around a small central yard. The complex has a communal games/sports area and a kiddies play area although at the time of our visit these did not seem to get much use. ||The cottage was well appointed, cosy and seemed to be a recent conversion, so everything felt quite new. Attention has been paid to the beds, with the double bed having a very comfortable pocket sprung mattress and good quality linen. ||Dog friendliness was a key factor for us and we were aware before booking that although the cottage is dog friendly, there is no grass within the small enclosed courtyard, just a border planted with bushes. There is however extensive fields a short walk down the approach drive. I wouldn’t however describe the enclosed courtyard as being adequately ‘enclosed’ for dog security. The gate and fencing separating the courtyard from the main farm yard had some chicken wire which was loose and did not prevent us receiving visits from the owners dogs, much to our dog’s surprise. Larger dogs would be reasonably secure, but smaller dogs could escape if so inclined. ||The farm also hosts regular live music events on Friday nights, in its newly developed Bar Silo. These draw quite a crowd and are free to residents, however be aware that despite attempts to direct cars to a separate car park, we found we returned in the evening and couldn’t park outside the cottage. ||Overall, a comfortable and well appointed cottage but whether the position of the cottages work for you will depend on whether you want a greater degree of isolation or prefer to be part of a mini community.

We had a fantastic stay here. They have a bar, but only open for events, and we just missed one!
The fisherman 's arms in walking distance (ish) but the weather was not great for us so we drove down.
10 minutes drive to Fowey, with a reliable local taxi service (expensive at £15 each way)
We had a great hot tub, and access to a small pool and sauna.
The bar conversion was lovely

We stayed in Gillyflower which was well equipped, comfortable and with a secluded garden (including hot tub) and terrace overlooking fields. The hosts are there if you need them but otherwise leave you to it, which was perfect for us. The pool and sauna were a great option on rainy days, and we loved visiting the farm animals. We enjoyed exploring the local walks to Golant and Fowey (be prepared for steep hills) and driving to local beaches. This is a great location to explore all of Cornwall, but there is plenty to do and see nearby, and the cottage was lovely to return to every day. Covid precautions were clear and sensible, and we were very glad to be able to take our holiday in the UK. We are already looking to book again soon. We would highly recommend.
