If you’re looking for a peaceful and aromatic getaway, this lavender farm is a must-visit! Not only is it an absolutely stunning place to see vibrant fields of lavender in full bloom, but it also offers a wonderfully cozy café that makes the experience even more memorable.

The café is small, warm, and incredibly welcoming — the perfect spot to unwind with a lovely cup of coffee or tea. They offer a delightful selection of cakes, many of which are infused with lavender for a unique and fragrant twist. The lavender shortbread are a must-try!

What makes this place even more special is the charming little smoke shop. You’ll find all kinds of lavender products, including dried lavender buds, essential oils, candles. Whether you’re looking to take home a relaxing scent, a thoughtful gift, or just a bit of the magic you felt during your visit, this shop has it all.

The atmosphere is calm, the staff are super friendly and passionate, and the whole experience feels like a breath of fresh air. It’s the kind of place you want to return to again and again.

🌸 Highly recommended for nature lovers, coffee enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys a peaceful retreat surrounded by beauty and the soothing scent of lavender.

A really lovely visit. Lavender fields are colourful. A pleasure to walk around. Don’t forget the café. A decent cup of tea, and the Lavender & Almond cake was a treat. Also light meals, if you prefer. The owners and staff are warm and friendly. Some reviews I’d read are unfounded. Come and see for yourself, then you can make up your own mind. I loved it and will come again.

My favourite local cafe. Beautiful setting on a sunny day with or without the lavender. Good coffee and nice large cake slices! Little shop is an added bonus. It's really unique and the most peaceful place.

I am a photographer and would say this place was disappointing this year (2024) for photography.

The rows didn't seem to to be blooming very well. The colours were dull and the rows patchy and full of weeds. I hope they improve this in the future and if they were to ever re do the rows, if they could go from North to south instead of east to west that would also be great. I would happily pay £50 for a pass to take photos here like I do at cotswold lavender, but the difference is stark.

I get that it is a working lavender farm but there is so much more they could do to diversify.

I have attached some of the photos I've taken here to show what is possible. I just wish the place was better maintained because it could be so good and we went during peak blooming time yet the lavender wasn't in flower. Don't know if they just had a bad year or what.

At the moment, due to the entry price being free, I do a lot of charity photo shoots here. But it would be another good location to use.

I would improve:

1. Have grass in some places between some of the rows
2. More bushy lavender that grows really close together
3. Different colours of lavender
4. Different bush heights and sizes.
5. Weed the fields
