We have just returned from a 10 night stay at Solley’s. I must say this is one of the friendliest campsites we’ve ever been to. They all went above and beyond to make sure everyone was looked after and the place has pretty much everything you need. Brand new toilet and shower block, pub and a cafe selling some of the best ice cream you can get.
It’s relatively small but you get really good sized pitches so you’re not all crammed in together. We were there over the bank holiday and they put on a barbecue and band which was really nice.
We’ll definitely be back.

Solley's Ice Cream Parlour was well worth the short trip off the main road. Riddle is a gorgeous little English town that is home to a select number of delicious ice cream flavours. Also, wonder through the Maize Maze.

We visited yesterday (22/9/24) and had an absolutely delightful afternoon!
Every single member of staff was helpful, friendly and welcoming - especially Rob.
We had some delicious ice cream, a walk around the maize maze which was such fun, and had a couple of cold drinks from the pub on site.
There were so many choices of ice cream, and beers/ciders on draught, with fast service from all the team.
The whole site was very clean and tidy, and we shall be returning as soon as we can!
Would highly recommend anyone to take a visit for an enjoyable day out. Thank you Solley’s.

Fantastic place for all ages . Stopped for cup of tea in Ice Cream Parlour whilst husband and grandson went on a tractor ride around farm and beyond. Thoroughly enjoyed walking through the maze of maize got lost a couple of times but great fun . Had to answer questions correctly to guide you through. Grandson found all the pictures of the missing cows and was rewarded with a lollipop. Ice cream wow!!! Outstanding best I have ever tasted , tried coconut and added scoop of banana delicious. Wonderful experience , staff were excellent and place was very clean . So pleased we were able to visit the farm again this year obviously due to Covid-19

Tractor rides this only for people in a bubble still made no difference we had a great time with our family and grandchildren. Coffee was hot and creamy while we were waiting for lady tractor driver to arrive . To end our trip visit to the parlour and walk though the maize . Visited the farm for the last time this year good excuse to buy a delicious ice cream ? We will be back in the new year

Stayed for 2 nights with 2 kids age 6 and 9. Phoned the owner as directed on the sign on at arrival and he met us at our pitch to show us where things were. Nice flat area to pitch up. Shower and loo block was good and clean, shout out to the amazing lady we saw cleaning them every morning in the scorching temperatures. She was still friendly smiling and doing a great job. Cold drinking water taps around edge of the pitch, sometimes a little awkard as right near people set ups if they had a pitch next to the tap, but so useful to have and not worry about bottled water.
Lovely ice cream on site. Maize maze was fun. Nice lad.. Toby driving the tractor for tractor rides at 2 50 per person, kids loved it. Sadly the go karts had gone and no play stuff for the kids but they had fun with other kids on site. Nice and quiet at night. Would deffo recommend and would return. Thank you all for a lovely trip.

Visited several times now. Ice cream is lush. Tubs to take away so bring your cool box. Good general cafe menu. Campsite with good showers, several walks to do across the fields. 2 pubs in walking distance though the Solleys pub is open Friday Sat Sunday, just fizzy draught beer ATM, we gave guidance on the size of head, a hand pump is installed ready for the good stuff!

Fantastic stay at Solleys. Bonus of live music at the weekend.Food and ice cream delicious. Rob was very helpful, the owner Stephen very friendly and helpful too. Kyle done a great job keeping the ducks fed!
Met some lovely people and will definitely be back.
