Tried this butcher's for the first time but not again. Purchased, amounst other things, a pack of chicken breasts & a pack of legs (both with the previous day's packing date). When I opened the breasts they smelt really lovely & fresh, but the legs stunk, and I knew as soon as I opened the clingfilm. No way was it fresh when packed. So couldn't trust them unfortunately going forward. Such a shame but won't be going back there.

We received our Meat Survival box on Friday and we’re blown away by the quality of the packaging and it was even packed with fab little freeze blocks which kept the meat so fresh and cool.
The products themselves were really well wrapped too, no leaking of any meat juices.
The meats look so fresh, we had the steaks last night and can honestly say they were the best most tender sirloin steaks we’ve ever had. We had bacon this morning and that too had such a lovely Smokey taste. Thoroughly looking forward to the lamb chops and the mince midweek.
The whole experience was simply perfect start to finish, would 100% recommend this butchers and service, and will definitely be buying again,

Consistently good quality products. Excellent range. Service CANNOT be beaten. Great local staple that I hope remains for decades to come. Their 7 day saddleback sausages are a favourite and I end up buying by the dozen for friends and family!

We went to the butcher this morning. An older man was going to serve us. He gave both myself and my husband the nastiest look and said what you after. What happened to customer service? We have never had this issue before! We did the better thing and walked out

Beautiful cuts of meat, great variety. Bought some extra mature sirloin, cooked to a medium rare, and it was perfect! Super soft, juicy and tender. 10/10. Support local business!

Absolutely superb! Ordered a large flat brisket to create a "Texan smoked brisket" and it was stunning! It went down an absolute storm, as did the "sausages of the month". A friendly, knowledgeable and fairly priced butcher's. Highly recommended
