My first visit today.
I was impressed by the building, and layout and there's lots of unique products to purchase as well as a butchers counter.
The cafe is large, wasn't busy but you still had to wait to be seated.
There was a good number of friendly staff working this area so service was attentive.
Nice menu selection but a little overpriced in my opinion.
Large outdoor seating area and good car park.

Cute little farm shop with lovely cafe attached. Farm shop is full of fresh deli foods and lots of quirky products to buy. They also have a home section with plates, vases etc

At the restaurant I had the chicken Caesar salad, my brother had the ham and cheese toastie - which looked great.
The Caesar salad was quite average but still yummy. Salad was £13, quite toot in my opinion. But overall the lunch was nice.

Staff where friendly - no table service.

Popped in to the cafe for a few hours while waiting on some car work to get completed and enjoyed a sourdough sausage bap which was lovely in the morning. The shop has a nice array of on site grown fruit/veg, a butchers counter, wine and beers and other nice items. The cafe was just a little cold on the morning I was there but otherwise it did lead me to get a coffee to warm me up which was very good indeed.

First time to this shop on Sunday. Had Pork roast and Beef. I have to say the star was the vegetables, those were amazing. Pork was a surprise too. Beef was a bit over cooked. But overall still very good restaurant with friendly staff and really good food.

In my mind I think I would give 4.5 (point loss due to the roast beef) but given you can’t do that in google and I think this is a recommended restaurant I would still give it a 5.

Three generations - 7 of us turned up at the brilliant Italian Kitchen in Smallford Farm Shop. We were the last customers of the day slipping in before last orders for food. We could see the chef cleaning as if his shift was done and then we arrived! Poor guy!

Regardless the food and the staff welcome was second to none. Risotto, burgers, soup and snitzel all got resounding thumbs up as well as the bakes.

We’d had a difficult day as a family and the lunch together was a balm to that stress and sadness.

Thank you so much for giving us so much attention and energy at the end of your shift.

Far too pricey, Average Quality & Tiny portions

First and last visit. Had breakfast with my wife and we were both disappointed. The service was OK but we had to wait a long time for our breakfast even though half the cafe was empty. The food quality was average at best. The prices were extortionate, especially as the portions were tiny. Two mini eggs on a single very small sourdough toast cost £15 (including service charge)!! Also to add a 10% “discretionary service charge” without asking the customer is taking liberty. With the right management this place has the potential to be much better.
