First thing is that nobody wishes to be admitted in the hospital. But unfortunately if you do the next thing you want to be bothered about is meals.
The quality of meals supplied by them at RVI are worst at its best.
Starting from soups you can tell are just water and probably industrial/ chemically modified made stuff in them. Veggies in the meal are lowest quality available in the market.
You probably wont get halal vegetarian options whatever you would choose. No care given to person's diet choice or option and food quality is horrendous.
They are just a contractor to NHS and yet another business trying to maximize their profits and not at all bothered about patients well being. Shameful and they should be penalised for the quality and feedback.

Supply food at Mid Yorkshire Hospital. Taste of meat, chicken and veg curries are all the same. All curries are Bland, no taste and need to add a bit of spice. Use cheap ingredients for rice and don't give free naan and salad like the supplier who supplies at Leeds St James hospital. Good vastly improve. Its not all about money it should be quality first.

While in Tameside General Hospital I was served this companies indian food tray.so was expecting it to be good .Once opened it was full of surprises.
-The Rice type was poor and smell was quite similar to bird food.
Halal mince and chickpeas was well below average.
Okra Dish with potato served had no taste .Cough...Cough...
These guys serve Hospital industry ..must be making good money .
These guys don't know how to pick The correct type of Rice and other ingredients likes of meat and vegetables that would deliver best taste to patients in hospitals.
So the hospital Dietitians please look elsewhere when selecting foe the right company who cares about your patients.

Simply Puree delivered to my elderly mother and stated delivery would be by 12 noon. This was never the case and sometimes was as late as 5pm in the evening. This caused her to worry. Really poor delivery service which was consistently late and without apology. We have been successfully using another company for the past couple of months. Shame as food seemed very good but they do not seem to care about small accounts.
