I have been buying my wors from Simply African for years now. It does what it says on the tin - "simply the best" ! I have tried wors from many suppliers and butchers over the years, but this, in my opinion, is the best. Just like home, if not better. Friendly staff and amazing product. I would definitely recommend best Biltong and Droe wors in the south. Garenteed
But online service could differ, bad experience with not getting what you ordered and not right quantity. After sale service could improve .

Their biltong, Stokowski and droe worse is good bet supply and delivery is really bad. So bad that I think I will have to find a new supplier. Every order I have placed with them, even though they advertise 3 days it is always 7-14 days for delivery. Very disappointed in supply and service.

Incredible biltong supplier. Very fresh produce, super tender beef. Traditional, garlic & pepper are my favourite flavours. This is a local business to me, so I’m lucky enough to have their biltong as fresh as it comes. I recommend this place over purchasing the generic tough and not so good supermarket biltong.

It’s been 2 years since I haven’t received my order, with the pretext that it was customs problem. After contacting customs and signing some papers they retrieve the package and return it to England. It was a 115€ order. When this happened, I contacted simply African food customer service and had no response . Furthermore, after 2 weeks of waiting for a response, I decided write an email in a funnier way, since the situation was totally surrealistic(my order was made a year ago) and to my surprise they responded but in the most aggressive way possible. I am a full time college student and haven’t had time to write a critic in a proper way. Simply African Food, if you can’t cover the demand of international shippings do not offer that service and don’t hide yourselfs on the absurd and easy argument of: "covid delays". One last thing, before this happened, I bought from you two times earlier with both orders exceeding 100€. Never again.

Beware of the ingredients!

Do some research on these. If you don't know what they mean, they are mostly likely hazardous to the body.
-Ammonia caramel E150c (carcinogenic),
-palm oil,
-monosodium glutamate (MSG/E621/preservative 621) very toxic. They hide the name of MSG, as per the above.
-Disodium Inosinate and Disodium Guanylate (MSG alternatives)
-E635 (can leed to gout etc), synthetic citric acid, etc.

"Derived from genetically modified ingredients".

A shame that they are putting all these toxins into snack food, sold to an unsuspecting public.
But then it is not uncommon. As most "food" products you buy in the supermarkets today are filled with chemicals that are toxic to the body.
