We had a fantastic stay at Shoebroad Barn. The barn is fabulous; spacious and welcoming, and with stunning views. There was a lovely welcome gesture of baked brownies and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy too. Thank you very much - we will be back!

Lovely house, lots more space inside than appears from the outside! Access is challenging, up some steep slopes from the town. Forms part of a livery stable, so the friendly residents of the attached cottages plus visitors are active during the daytime.

The actual place was ok
The problem was afterwards they SCAMMED us we cleaned up even stripped the beds like they asked (never heard of such a thing) the next day I get a message from booking they want a extra £90 cleaning fee for a few bottles and garbage bag which we left in the kitchen as the bins were full

I went to see Shrwbread burial ground which is Quaker but with jewish name. Nothing there but i followed an ancestral path.
