What an amazing experience this was. The brewery tour was just amazing. Ever since emigrating to the UK from South Africa, and living on the outskirts of Faversham, I have wanted to do this tour. My mother and sister have previously worked for Shepherd Neame. They arranged that I go on the tour. I was not disappointed. Such a great experience, and a memory I will have for a life time. The tour guide, Laura, what an amazing guide. You couldn't of asked for a better guide. Extremely knowledgeable, and at times, very funny as well. Out of the 21 people on the tour, none of them were from Faversham. It just go's to show you what an amazing Town ambassador Shepherd Neame are, for Faversham. They contribute to the towns Tourism in a massive way. Thank you again guys, that tour was amazing

Have lived in Kent all my life and decided to book this tour on a whim as this Brewery has so much history. I was extremely impressed with the entire experience! Our tour guide Glyn was really friendly, informative and engaging, telling us lots of interesting facts. The tour lasted about 1hr15 and we were given plenty of time to look at everything and take it in, it didn’t feel rushed at all. This was then followed by a guided tasting in which we got to try 6 beers and learn about each of them. Would highly recommend and very reasonably priced at £22 per person

I got the brewery tour as a birthday gift and we absolutely loved it :-). Nice small brewery and very informative tour.

Note-All I would say have some food before you go as, first of all, I was pretty drunk by the end ot the tasting and secondly no restaurants in Faversham do food from 3 to 6 and the tour finishes just after 3 o'clock.

Overall very lovely experience.

This tour was fun! Expertly delivered by Billy, very informative & interesting, full of real history, and we got a bonus eagle, laughs and beer tasting. Love the bricks scratched by decades of carriages turning around. Recommended 👍

Enjoyed an excellent "Father's Day" gift this weekend, visiting the Shepherd Neame brewery. The tour was succinct and informative, reviewing each stage of the process of making beer. This is followed by a sample session at the end, rounding it off nicely.
I would recommend a visit if you are in this lovely part of the country.

My wife treated me to one of the brewery tours as a birthday present. This consisted of an excellent tour, given by the excellent Martin, who was very knowledgable about Shepherd Neame and the Brewing process, we more or less saw all the brewing process, but not the bottling or casks. Then we has a tasting of three of there different beers in 1/3 pint pots, followed by a free drink from their bar. Then we had a 2 course meal, all part of the tour package, and this was amazing, the veggie option was an amazing quiche type crumble, so tasty, followed by a blueberry cake. I don't know how much it cost, but my wife told me it was excellent value considering all the elements of the tour. Would definitely recommend.

We did the brewery tour and loved it. Martin our tour guide explained everything as we went round. You start off in the pub which is for people on the tour only, then head out in your group around the brewery, after that you end up in the bar area for tasting the beers.
There are no toilets on the way round, only in the bar area. This was good value for money.
You enter through the shop on the corner.

Fantastic tour, very interesting seeing all the equipment and machinery, with good context and information provided by the tour guide. A fascinating mix of history and technology.

It would be interesting to have a more in depth process tour that goes into more detail and is a bit longer. It is clear a lot of work and development has gone into the facility over the years and deep diving would be fascinating. Lean processes and bespoke machinery everywhere is fascinating.

The tasting at the end also puts all the information into context, nicely rounding off the afternoon.

Overall highly recommend especially for the price.
