As we prepared to begin our work as strawberry pickers, we were met with unwelcoming staff who struggled to communicate in English and provided minimal guidance. Our accommodation was far from satisfactory, featuring an aged mattress riddled with stains that seemed to have been around for a century. The bathroom was in a dismal state, with flooding, dampness, and black mold growth. Despite seeking assistance with the boiler issue, our concerns were disregarded. The language barrier exacerbated our feelings of unease and displacement. Following a restless night and after coming across numerous negative reviews regarding their treatment of workers, we made the decision to depart the following morning.

As is with all fruit and veg firms it's in the country side down small lanes and has inpatient people living around it. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Easy to find from A417 and follow the black lorry sign for Marden once in village the black sign for S&A will appear.
Friendly staff and quick delivery.
Nice clean and tidy yard with clean toilets, fit for human drivers.

Best route to come for trucks or oversized loads is via A417 then through Bodenham village then folow black signs for S&A. Don't turn right after dairy farm.

I went there for work experience around the middle of February, all very nice people and the strawberries taste amazing. Easy to find but the roads are a bit narrow.
