Lovely garden centre with great array of plants. Large farm shop, very well stocked with many artisan products, cheese counter, butchers and fresh homemade pies, cakes, and sweet treats. Good little cafe, a small menu but really tasty.

What other rating can you give a perennial finalist and winner of Best Farm Shop in Sussex? Magnificent choice of fresh and prepared meat, fruit, veg, drinks, beers, wines... And the prices are very reasonable. And then there's the stellar coffee shop and restaurant! This is an essential visit whenever I'm back in my childhood home county.

My advice would be don't sit near the large sliding door, as it gets opened a lot, when it's cold you'll wish you sat elsewhere. I'm gluten intolerant, so it was nice to see a good selection of cakes i could choose from, the toffee apple offering definitely had nuts in, but no distinguishing toffee apple flavour, no caramel bits or evidence of apple, very disappointing. I can recommend the jacket potatoes, table service was slow, but they were busy, probably won't go back.

Have been going here since it opened. Great choice of fresh produce. Not the cheapest but extremely good quality.and the fresh vegetables last much longer than supermarket buys, so if it is value for money.

We love popping in for fresh vegetables and fruit, also usually a good seasonal selection of frozen fruit for jam or dessert making. They have a great selection of unusual cheeses, fresh baked goods like pies, pasties, quiches etc.
Currently they have a few unusual, international Christmas treats in store you wouldn't find elsewhere.
Also a great selection of local alcohol you would find in a supermarket.
We love to buy gifts for our elderly parents here
On the way out we tend to stroll through the garden centre.
