Avoid. Not quality compost. Client bought a ton and when they called up to say how measily it was, they said their tons are in fact half a ton. Never heard that one before!

I bought 65m2 of grass for my lawn the turf was falling apart my lawn is totally ruined I emailed pictures and call many times but was given poor excuse after excuse there after care services is shocking they took my money and don't care about there product very shocking company would never use again I've never dealt with such a poor company try to past blame for there poor product

This company is the absolute best about and we have used them for many years. Customer service is brilliant and the aftercare information and help is second to none. Would also like to praise the hot Turkish delivery driver who provides a very fast friendly and efficient delivery service.

This is first time I’ve used Royce as they were recommended. I have to say I’m please overall with the quality of the turfs. Slightly less impressed with the delivery charge. Although I was asked if I wanted it delivered I assumed as it was only going 6 miles it was free. Wrong it was £48. Had I been told (or remembered to ask) I would have collected the 32 rolls myself. I feel £8 a mile delivery or adding £1.50 per roll is excessive. I would hope that Royce who have a good reputation locally would have been a bit more up front with this charge especially with new customers.

I find it disingenuous to suggest that £48 is an acceptable delivery charge as occasionally it can take over an hour to travel 12 miles because it’s a lorry. This was not a isolated trip, my delivery was one of many and the driver had already been to Kingston by the time he eventually got to me. I actually unloaded the turf myself because he was moaning about his back hurting. I will leave it to your potential customers to view your response and decide if Royce have acted in good faith and treated me fairly.

Specifically ordered and bought a few rolls of their “Regency” shade tolerant turf to patch up a lawn laid with the exact same turf 3 years earlier (also supplied by Royce). I called in person to collect this and was given the rolls to take away. A couple of weeks after carrying out the patching up work it was evident by the colour and texture that this wasn’t the same turf at all. So I now have a lawn that looks really weird. Clearly this company couldn’t care less about customer service.

Wouldn’t sell me grass seed as it was the “wrong time of year” fertiliser is also about as expensive as it gets.
