Just returned from a fabulous 3 night stay at Roughs Farm Retreats which I had organised for my husband to share his 60th birthday with our friends. Lovely warm welcome, they had even laid the log burner ready to light when we arrived (there is something special about watching flames on a chilly February evening)!
The house was immaculately clean, comfortable and we had absolutely everything we need, and me being a cook, that was a joy.
Many thanks for an amazing stay. We will definitely return.

What a wonderful place! We were a family of 8 adults, 3 grandchildren/babies and 2 dogs reuniting for a family Christmas from different parts of the UK.
Hannah was so professional and helpful, accommodating our many needs eg cots, high chairs and even bed sides. She couldn’t have done more and it was lovely to be greeted and bade farewell by the whole family including husband and baby, mum Rosie and Uncle Tony.
The Farmhouse was perfect for the family whilst we could retire to the Maid’s Cottage to have a breather! The 2 hot tubs were an added bonus, kept spotlessly clean by Tony.
Both farmhouse and cottage have been beautifully renovated, warm and furnished with quality fixtures and fittings, lovely comfortable beds/bedding and great bathrooms with loads of hot water.
Thoughtfully and exquisitely decorated for Christmas too.
You will want for nothing here and we will be back hopefully next year for a summer break.

We had a fantastic stay here for a large family get together - the house and cottage are finished and furnished really nicely and spotlessly clean. It had everything you need. Hannah's communication was good throughout. It feels really rural, but you're also not far from Sawtry (about 1.2 miles) and the motorway to get about. Our only small feedback was that the pillows were too big and bulky and not comfortable for some of us.

We stayed at the Old Farmhouse for a family trip to celebrate my 30th birthday. Everything was absolutely perfect. The house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. The hot tub is amazing and is maintained daily. The downstairs room is fully accessible, it’s completely dog friendly being fully enclosed which takes the stress away. Hannah and her family had thought of everything in the renovation. Could not fault our stay and can’t wait to have an excuse to come back again!

We had a wonderful girl's weekend at the Maid's Cottage and can't recommend it enough. The photos didn't do it justice and we were so very pleased with the peaceful location, decor, cleanliness and gorgeous enclosed garden full of apple trees. All of us (including our dog) was warmly welcomed on arrival by Hannah & Rob and our hot tub was kept super clean the whole weekend by Tony, who was also on hand if we needed anything. We recommend the lovely walk through the farmers fields to the Dog & Castle pub, where we saw not a soul en route! We'll certainly be back! Thanks Hannah!

Having enjoyed a lovely week here last year we have just returned from a third stay at Maids Cottage, which in its self should be testament to how we enjoyed our stay . Our hosts Hannah , Rosie and Tony are great hosts .The cottage is well equipped, very clean and comfortable and in a peaceful setting . Would highly recommend and looking forward to returning next year .

10 of us stayed last weekend at Roughs Farm Retreats. The house has been restored to an exceptional standard. The interior is beautiful throughout. 10 people can easily get lost in the scale of the house, but can also come together for meals and drinks in the reception rooms.
The kitchen is fully equipped; we cooked all weekend and literally didn’t need to bring anything other than food and drink.
The hot tub is huge and easily accommodated 8 adults.
The grounds are well maintained and really peaceful.
We would highly recommend a stay here.
