This place feels miles away from anywhere but close to town if you need anything. It is a wonderful site, with some great walks, and lakes to explore, or just sit and listen to the wildlife surrounding you. I have now been here multiple times and had a wonderful stay every single time. Showers and toilets are suitable, with a nice little washing up station.

First time camping with the dog!
Very dog friendly site. Lovely and peaceful area tucked out the way, but only a small walk from the town which had some lovely pubs and cafes. And close to the wildlife park.
The owners were always around to answer any questions, when we arrived Patrick answered his phone straight away to show us where to go, we felt very welcomed!
The facilities were just as pictured on the website so no surprises there. I saw Patrick on numerous occasions, sweeping, cleaning, topping up toilet roll, soap and swapping the hand towels! There was one shower, which we knew, however this was never an issue and it was free every time we went up, it was also instant hot water with really good water pressure, nothing fancy just nice and simple and everything we needed!
Overall we were really pleased with this site and would recommend, it was peaceful and the lack of phone signal was actually refreshing 🙂

Really lovely quiet campsite. We stayed Sunday to Friday and there were only 6/7 other campers staying in the field. Great facilities, including shower, toilet block, washing up area and also a washing machine. Lovely setting, there is a woodland that they planted in 1999. Which you can walk around and enjoy. Patrick is very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay on this site, however we went when the weather was very wet so we couldn't actually pitch up on the field. We were parked up on the hard standing which was not ideal as we had temporary electrics serving two vans which was not ideal and the views not as good as the proper field . There was also road works where they resurfaced over night during our stay , which didn't help when trying to sleep. However on balance the toilet and washing facilities were good and the owners were very helpful and friendly. As a location it's good and allowed us to visit many of the local towns.
We will probably return but when we have better weather.

Great little campsite, 25 minute walk from Lechlade and the River Thames. Beautiful, scenic location that makes you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere! We had a really lovely couple of nights here in our tent and will definitely come back.

Nice site. Small & quiet. Friendly hosts. Recommended but things to be aware of: location is not well signed (at the end of a long, narrow lane that says "Private Property"). Water tap some distance from main parking area and your moho will be blocking the entrance while you fill up. Depending on which mobile provider you're with, you might not get any signal (virtually no signal on Three). 25-30 minutes walk into village. Lynwood good for breakfast but dust & cobwebs very visible.

I spent five days here at rough grounds, had the place yo myself gor three of them, lovely and quiet at night, local conservation area next door, wich makes a nice morning walk. Pipping hot water in the taps washing up basin, washing machine urinal, dunny and shower, I especially made good friends with a family of wolf spiders living in the shower, really funny little kritters, would definitely stay there again oh and electric hook up available.
