We have enjoyed Roddas clotted cream for many years, but the pot we bought on 27 June was not up to their normal standard. It was more like double instead of clotted cream. It was so runny that it wouldn’t stay on the scone! I reported it to them. Although their initial response was prompt, they couldn’t tell me why it was like this. They referred it to their ‘technical team’ on 3rd July and I’ve heard nothing since. We did get an apology, but no suggestions of compensation.

Not a very happy customer! We purchased a tin of their tea at the Royal Cornwall show at what is a high price for loose tea (if I recall correctly it was 15), but I willing to pay the extra for something special.

When we get home we open the tin to find it has a tiny sample size bag inside which when opened only fills the tin to 10% at the most.

Very shameful practice, its not often I feel duped.
