Beautiful venue with the most attentive staff! Everything from start to finish was stress free and easy. I couldn’t recommend rivervale barn enough & every single one of my guests said how beautiful the venue is & how amazing the staff are.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of capturing weddings at Rivervale Barn, and it’s always an incredible experience. The venue itself is nothing short of stunning – set in a picturesque location with beautifully manicured gardens, it offers so many fantastic spots for photographs. The barn itself is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern elegance, providing a gorgeous backdrop for both ceremony and reception.

The team at Rivervale Barn are always professional, welcoming, and so accommodating, which makes my job as a photographer even easier. They genuinely care about the couple’s day and it’s clear they work hard to ensure everything runs smoothly. It’s a joy to work alongside such a friendly and efficient team.

Thank you so much to the entire Rivervale Barn team for everything you did to make our wedding day so special. From early morning preparations to the final wave goodbye, the warmth, support, and professionalism made everything run seamlessly.

We felt completely at ease and are so grateful for the care they took in bringing the day to life. The food was delicious, the venue looked stunning, and it meant the world to be in such capable, friendly hands.

Our wedding coordinator was truly wonderful – calm, kind, and dedicated throughout – and we deeply appreciated her efforts. If we may gently suggest, a little more admin support might help ease the pressure on your brilliant team, as we did sometimes find it a bit tricky to get in touch during the lead-up.

That said, the day itself was everything we hoped for and more. You created the perfect setting for our celebration – thank you again!

We could not have chosen a better wedding venue! We looked at a lot of venues but this one clearly stood out against the rest and suited us as a couple perfectly. The venue is absolutely stunning and the whole process from booking through to post-wedding was smooth sailing which was incredibly helpful - the whole team are so accommodating and make sure you and your guests are taken care of throughout. We knew we were in safe hands and Rivervale truly helped us in having the perfect wedding day!

As a wedding photographer, I was immediately struck by the charm and elegance of this space, designed with romance and celebration in mind. Sadly we can't add to to the litany of lovely reviews here because our wedding planning process with Rivervale was a nightmare at every turn. Our costs were (unexpectedly) astronomical, we were refused two outside vendors, and to top it all off, our use of the accommodation block was cancelled two weeks to the day before our wedding. We had to scramble to book and pay extortionate prices for hotel rooms for family in two different directions, and a driver to take them there. We were only considering venues that could house the family together, so this really was a blow to us to have this pulled very last minute. The reason cited was that we had too many children in the accommodation, but we had been very clear about numbers (5 children) from the start, stood in the property with the team the day before the cancellation allocating kids' rooms, and had wedding nannies booked to care for them in the property.

Our wedding was in April, so I've waited 3 months to make sure I still feel strongly about writing this review, but sadly I now look back on our day with a feeling of just being grateful the process is over! And I'll add that I run events for a living!

To balance this, what I will say is Rivervale did us a deal based on taking a free date from them with only 6 months to go, so I can't tell if this is the factor that meant we feel we had such different treatment to the hoards of other reviewers. We did have a lovely relationship with someone from the sales team who was our saving grace, but we felt that everything that was promised in the sales stage (use of vendors, budgets) was walked back in the planning stage by the actual events team. We really felt there were two vastly different teams involved with very different motives.

In balance, I don't think Rivervale will believe my review to be unfair under the circumstances, and we ended up having a lovely wedding thankfully, but in spite of Rivervale rather than with Rivervale.

No words can express how thankful we are to Rivervale Barn for making our wedding day so special.

We new Rivervale Barn was our venue from the initial tour we had with Victoria, she was so friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all our questions with no hesitation. We had viewed a few venues and both agreed Rivervale Barn stood out to us. The moment we drove down the lovely swooping driveway to see entrance, we instantly had that excitement you dream of. Seeing and hearing how the spaces flowed so well allowed us to imagine how our big day would work at this incredible venue.

We asked to come back the following week with our family, as we were so keen to show them the venue we had our heart set on. The staff at Rivervale were so accomadating with tbis and our families felt welcome. This was the day we booked the venue and we all left with a warm and excited feeling.

The next 12 months consisted of planning and wedding meetings every few months. Again any questions or queries we had were easily answered and they were more than happy to cater to a brides very particular dietary requirement.

Our wedding day then arrived, as soon as we arrived at the venue Victoria and the whole team were on hand helping getting everything out of the cars and asked how we wanted everything set up. This Instantly took all the stress away from us and allowed us to get ready. The whole staffing team were also fantastic in ensuring my bride and I didn't see one another at all.

The day was truly perfect, any issue that arose Victoria was straight onto and some never even came to our attention as they were sorted out before we could stress about them!
All of our guests raved about how incredible the food was, and those with dietary requirements were so thankful to have such lovely meal as this is often an after thought. The guests all commented on how beautiful the venue was, and how they were blown away. We could not fault Rivervale Barn and the team in any way shape or form and we will be forever thankful for all the hard work they put in throughout the day.

We would encourage anyone looking at Rivervale Barn to book it, you will not regret this magical and utterly beautiful venue. You will be well looked after by the lovely team.

We knew from the moment we stepped into Rivervale that this was the place we wanted to get married. The venues and grounds were beautiful and we fell in love with the outdoor space, however on our wedding day the weather had other ideas and because of the rain we held the ceremony indoors. The indoor space was just as gorgeous and now we look back on the day we wouldn’t have had it any other way.

The staff were brilliant from planning to the actual day. We would especially like to mention Victoria who we could have not asked for a better person to help us through our day. Our guests were very complimentary of her too as we know it can be quite difficult to organise our friends and families, but she handled it so brilliantly. We can’t speak highly enough of her!

Rivervale Barn has also built up amazing partnerships with their suggested supplies, who some of which we used for our day and would recommend taking a look at yourself.
