Have ordered from Riverside for our Christmas pork and gammon joints for the last 2 years and I wouldn't ever go anywhere else! The cuts are beautiful, the quality is outstanding and the service is second to none! Order is delivered by friendly gentlemen and in a timely manner. Just had a delivery from Riverside Butchers to my home in France. What can I say? the quality is outstanding. I've had deliveries from them before but this is the first time I've ordered steaks and they are HUGE. The pork chops are huge too and the home made pies are simply the best. Don''t bother with supermarket meat again go to Riverside Butchers you certainly won't be disappointed. the staff are really friendly and very helpful and everything comes sealed individually ready for the freezer. Popped in to Taunton last week and whilst there picked up some pork chops, from Riverside Butchers. They were absolutely delicious and very tender. Obviously the price was higher than it would have been in a supermarket, but for this quality worth every single penny.
For those that struggle to get pork cooked right, like me, I'll include my method, for a 3cm thick chop.
Fry on a medium heat for 4 minutes a side.
Transfer pan to preheated 170C fan oven for 11 minutes.
Rest covered for 10 minutes.
Optional, spread on some garlic butter before serving.

I collected my delivery from Riverside butchers UK to here in France where I now live last week in perfect tip top condition, ice cold and packaged so well I could just pop it straight in the freezer, I was so pleased with the produce, lovely sausages delicious pork pie to the tasty minced beef, the whole service from Riverside to mouse 2 house was great. I highly recommend.

Sometimes it is the simple everyday things that deliver the most. Smoked bacon! Just delicious and cooks perfectly with no water leaking out into your frying pan. A comfort food and perfect for our carbonara. As always friendly service with great banter!
